The Fear Aura doesn't prevent all damage from hitting Phantomere. If he wanted to do that, he'd just turn invisible again. You'll just have to see what kinds of bullshit it does to people that attack it with a certain type of move.

And we could always have two Samanthas. Harliette intends to use her new name throughout the story, anyways.

It is a reference to MS Paint Adventures. To Captchalogue is to put an object into your...Captchalogue. Which is like an inventory only infinitely more complex. And dangerous.
