Balls. But fair enough.
Well, let's see, I could... nah, that would be a shamelessly identical replacement. Maybe another type combination? That's going to be tough, it needs to be able to use Electric attacks. Hmmm... Also, did you just give me permission to make Tsujimi into an invincible rule-breaking bastard? EDIT: Oh man wow, I think Tsujimi may be my favorite 'mon ever. Jesus Christ, what have I done? Anyway, let's talk strategy: Rachel: Full Restore on Impact, Max Revive on Pierce's Blaziken. Moon: Fathom and Starmie to use Hydro Pump on Sandslash. Pierce: Call out Tyranitar and Blaziken. Tyranistorm takes effect. Aster: Lucario form, switch in for Matthias, Sunny Day. Tyranistorm is dispelled. Charlotte: Spitz to use Super Fang on Crownlegs, Sol-Leks to use Overheat on Poseidon Tank. Impact: Flamethrower on Crownlegs. Lexhur: FIRE HIS LASER. Centered on Arceus. Pierce: Tyranitar with Stone Edge, Blaziken with Overheat on Crownlegs. Signature Sequence "Solidarity Counter" with Chizuru. On Sunflora, Discord, Dialga, Crownlegs and Grant (Arceus was knocked out by Lexhur Laser). I know Grant and Discord have Flinch immunity, but Solidarity Guard should still work because the effect technically isn't flinch, right? Cecilia: Bo Strike on Poseidon Tank. Harliette: Mineral Shot on Crownlegs (if it's dead, Charge Shot on Poseidon Tank), Illumise to use Helping Hand on Harliette, Blissey to use Sing on Lucian. Wilhelmina: Buckshot Blast on Crownlegs (if it's dead, Buckshot Blast on Poseidon Tank). [Evolith/Device Space 1] [Aster] [Spitz] [Sol-Leks] [Bastiodon] [Illumise] [Harliette] [Blissey] [Cecilia] [Blaziken] [Tyranitar] [Starmie] [Fathom] [Impact] [Barrier Amplifier] Yeah, I elected to save up Lexhur's Rage in case we need it later. Sue me.

What is Solidarity Guard doing, if it is not actually flinching?

Erm, right, my bad. What I meant was Solidarity Counter.
Solidarity Guard is Chizuru's Signature Technique. What Solidarity Counter does is pretty much the same as Solidarity Guard, except indiscriminately. See, the enemies do attack, but they do no damage. As opposed to flinching, where they definitely don't attack.

Isn't that basically saying that your foes have 0% accuracy on all their moves for the turn? Or something like Protect? Because AB might cause you trouble one way or another with moves that never miss like Aura Sphere or with moves that bypass defense one way or another.

Remember when Chizuru used Solidarity Guard back at the mansion? AB didn't actually say what kind of attacks the enemies used.
So Solidarity Guard would work by taunting the enemies and forcing them to waste an action on some unspecified nameless attack.

That's how it is. But it won't always work, usually if the enemy is, as Dracorian likes to put it, cheaters.
For example, he definitely would not have gotten the favorable results he desired if he tried that shit on Pokegeddon. The results of using certain techniques on certain foes tend to vary. All I can say is, choose who you evade and counter carefully and don't get too greedy. |

Fucking cheaters, man!
But now that that's settled, what do you think about the rest of my plan, Menarker? I considered having Aster use Zen Aura, but I'd rather use that next turn where he can utilize the 100% critical hit bonus to it's fullest extent. Anyway, I've finished Adamantitar (got a better name? throw it at me), Sophie and Tsujimi (who will probably need to be depowered). And what do you know? The time to introduce them is just after this mission. Sooooooooo... (AB, if you don't want to deal with this now and want me to post it later, I understand. It's a big read, and I'm an impatient, ungrateful asshole.) Sophia Sophie's Magatama - A skill to use two attacks for one turn (note: attacks, not actions; use an item? no; use a Signature Technique? no; normal attack? yes) at a RP cost. - Enhanced observational skills: first level, determine the strengths (weapon capabilties, possible attacks) and possible weak points of an opponent. Second level, read body language and determine an opponent's next move (NOT precognition, that doesn't fit with Sophie). Both for an RP cost. - Stat boosts. - Chemical knowledge: Sophie carries around a case full of chemicals. In the field, she can mix and match to treat status afflictions to an extent. The effect of all physical status effects (except for Freeze, for obvious reasons) is halved. Physical status effects that take two actions to cure can be healed in one action. Tsujimi Adamantitar Okay, wow. I have far too much free time on my hands. Which is saying something, considering most of my day is packed. Maybe I should pick up a hobby or something.

Tsujimi sort of confuses me, is it a pokemon or what? And I assume Sophie is your character for the side RP?
If so, here are some concepts I've been kicking around. Spiritomb Pokebrid Alias: Legion/ Gerasenes Xatu Pokebrid Alias: Nirvana Heatran Pokebrid Alias: Bob |

Tsujimi is a Fiend from the Netherworld who was somehow caught by a pokeball. How, I'm not sure. It was AB's idea, blame him. But yes, Tsujimi would function like a pokemon. Albeit, a heavily broken one. As for it's two other forms, well, multi-form pokemon aren't exactly new.
And yes, Sophie is my character for the side-RP. Actually, a question arises. I was originally under the impression that Pierce's sidequest and Rayleen's sidequest would be taking place at the same time. But reading over AB's mission rundown again, it says that Jeanette will be joining the Crusaders in Rayleen sidequest, which would be slightly impossible if it took place at the same time as Pierce's. So am I given to understand that we'll be running Pierce's sidequest first, then Rayleen's sidequest? Because if so, then I guess I didn't really need to post Sophie and Tsujimi yet.

Personally, I'd change a few things around with the plan. Not very much, but still...
1: Illumise should be earlier in the plan, targetting one of the fire pokemons using a fire attack on Crownlegs instead of Hariette. (Sol-lek or Blaziken). Preferably whichever is using the move with higher attack power and respective attack stat. Multipliers on top of multipliers go much higher than putting it on something without a multiplier. 2: Switch Tyranitar and Sol-lek's attacks, so Sol-lek is hitting Crownlegs with his enhanced fire attack (Sunny Day, STAB, Helping Hand) and Tyranitar is hitting the tank. Fits in character as well as Charlotte would probably be seeking to make Crownlegs one of her trophies as opposed to a tank, which doesn't feel pain and isn't that unique either. Otherwise, I'm good with it, although it does leave Sunny Day open, meaning that Wildfire is going to be knocking quite a few of us out, especially since she's on her last turn of that 5 stat boost bonus. Guess I should make my character a snagger then. I'll think of stuff in a bit. Although Drac took one of the ones I was considering, Weavile. Ah well. No biggie. |
