Look on the bridge side, Dracorion. At least it's not Hydrados. That PokeWeapon has three attacks that have multiple hit ranges.

Actually, it could be worse than that.

See, all those moves now have a base power of 25 per hit in Black and White (previously, only Bone Rush and Rock Blast was 25 power). That means at the very base level, it would be a power of 125 power when all five hits connect due to Skill Link.

If the pokemon gains STAB, each hit has a power of 37.5 which becomes 70 in the case of a crit. So if all five hits don't crit, the move will have a total power of 187.5, which is quite a bit stronger than a STAB Earthquake (150 power). If all of the hits crit (not impossible since each one would have like a 40% chance of critting in the games due to Focus energy and item), then it would have a power of 375! That's more than Explosion! One that ignores debuffs, foes buffs and can break substitutes and continue hitting. And before taking weakness in consideration or Stat boosts to the Attack Stat.

There are very few ways to make it worse in this RP. Like Technician, which would give it an extra 1.5x modifer since the base power of each hit is less than 60. That would be like getting an extra STAB bonus. *Shudder*

The increased power only applies as of Gen V, which we're not implementing yet.

Also, Gen V is stupid for taking away Explosion's defense halving.

AB, I was actually hoping to focus a bit more on the story aspect of the RP. Battles are fun, but the real advantage of writing something is that you can do what you want with the story. What I'd propose is leaving the combat system for now, and working out ways to make the story more epic.
Because I think there's a lot of potential for fun left in this story.
As-of-yet unused potential.
Let's use it.

Menarker, until I've dealt with some stuff, we'll go with your plans. Days need to start having more hours. Though my teachers would just use that as an excuse to fill them with more work. In the same vein, I'll get around to the conversation when I can. But I wanna spend time on trollslum as well, that's a lot more fragile than this.

Anyway... Huh. That was remarkably short. If anything else has missed my attention that you'd like addressed/be flagellated over, let me know.

Ooh, one more thing. Sorry, guys. I do feel sorta obligated to be on here, and believe me, failing to do so does not make me much happier than it makes you. -.-
