Inspiration
What should I write of? I can't think straight anymore Need an idea! My next verse comes up but I still have no subject Maybe I should stop... No! I must go on I require a subject for me to write 'bout! Damn inspiration! Why do you come at the most inconvient times? Blasted poem guidelines! I feel so limited I am full to burst! Okay, I'm done now this is getting too stressful so now I shall stop.

Sonnet Blonde
Watching through a stranger's eyes I see these two lovers and smile so bright
Embracing with a passion unseen before in this side of town, The boy leans down and delivers a small kiss so light, I envy these two and the love that they have both found. Suddenly they break away and with last glances they go their ways, He not looking back and she walking on, The boy struts off with his head in a haze I feel so sorry for when they are apart by the coming dawn. I'll never forget the way they looked, standing in the coffee shop, His arms around her, she as pure as a dove, Neither ever wanted that moment to stop, But they had to leave and leave they did with an unseen shove. I'll always remember that kiss in the coffe shop and the girl like a dove, I'll always remember those two blondes in love.

So close, and yet so distant,
Understood, and yet confused, Lovers with a penchant To think they have been used. Destined for each other, And yet so torn apart, Fighting with their lover is hurting both their hearts. But through all of the fighting, Within all that they share, True love's always uniting them, to show they truly care.

Writing, writing and at full speed
Pictures in words, sensuality Coming clearer now, if for me Whatever these letters hold for thee And at full speed, going faster Dive off that cliff, impeding disaster Spell bound they are, I'm the caster Or just the servent, they the master? |

This was done while listening to the music of the intro for Chrono Cross. Enjoy.
There are worlds where pictures come to life, And tell the tales that they hold... Adventures of the heroes of the past, Of courage and strength of the old... They were told... Cerulean Skies, seeing everything, Protecting mortals from base fears. And when the Skies could not help anymore, Champions soon did appear... From highest mountain to the lowest plain, the heroes took up the Skies' call... Protecting mortals from their darkest fears, Defending the weakest of us all... With magics, knowledge, and their weaponry, They beat back darkness forcefully... Their task is done, now they head for the sun, Setting on this tale simply... The pictures fade, becoming still again, Their purpose has now been fulfilled... We leave this place, thanking the heroes, For keeping us safe with their wills... And watch us still.

"Drinking green tea and reminiscing"
Soft light enters her world Caressing the desktops, Lingering over the bed With it’s ruffled sheets Smoothes over the lines of The stereo, playing a song Such a sad sweet song It stirs her memory As she looks through Her journal of lost times Sitting on the windowsill A glass mug, half cracked Filled with water, two teabags Taking on a emerald shade As the sunlight filters through Dancing in the liquid depths Casting faint rainbows of green Onto the white-washed walls Soft breeze on a warm day Makes the shutters click As it softly knocks on her window Slight demand of her attention Absentmindedly turned away At the mere thought, she smiles Journal in her lap, Back to her bedside, resting She stays there, sipping Taking it all in, drinking Not just the moment, but her life The hustle of today fades, just a little Sitting there, peacefully… Drinking green tea and reminiscing |

Within these walls, peace does reside,
Keeping chaos locked outisde, while we rest within, in warm embrace, Contently here, enjoying the grace of tranquil thought, and feelings shown, No words come, but no thoughts unknown. Warm the heart with a simple smile, Serene music playing all the while For two who fell into each others' arms, And saw that it was no cause for alarm, for staying here, by each other's side, Their single thoughts would coincide, Creating love, swift generation, Supporting love, with exclimation.

No, I'm afraid that job is taken...
he's here and waiting
by your bed where proper children dare not tread a smile and a laugh more directly, an oppinion of what the end may bring besides oblivion foreign as he must be a demon wrought from shadow inklings in a childs mind of things we'll never know desperately inciting a knowing kind of fear oh, but how exciting that he should bring you near that dramatic little boogey man |

I need to sleep, just let me rest
Tomorrow I'll be at my best If I don't toss, and I don't turn Within my dreams I often learn Close my eyes, open my soul no longer within my own control Head on pillow, quilt wrapped round sleeping softly, dreaming sound So that I may wake, and feel alive Without my sleep I won't survive to last the day, or walk the mile Let me sleep more...just a little while...

Truth Devine
life in a gallant light
where all that's done is right justified within the eye which views from distant height a world of sharp contrasts and broken moral contracts an age of sinful harbingers replete with evil prospects knowledge, logic, empathy falsely shining destiny corrupted by a hope against that most beloved deity permitting no alternative for pity, we have none to give to heathenistic grand ideals of suf'ring all the world to live as one, in peace and happily a world where God can never be for wars are fought to glorify a name, a cause of errantry so kill this peace while still it sleeps within the womb of avarice to rise above all pretense for then our souls are our expense and where then would we place the blame? or hide our deadly intents? we can't afford to reconcile we've gone too far to defile our hallowed words and detritus our truth devine so infantile |
