Agile? Probably. Stronger? Arguably, no. I recall Spidey punching through the roof of a car in one movie and struggling to hold up a falling metal wall in the second movie. Iron Man punched through a brick wall pretty easily and dragged someone through it. And lazy swings of his fists sent people flying. Also, as mentioned above, bullets. Super robot accuracy>Spidey Sense Edit for below: Not a big comic book fan, I wouldn't know. Last edited by TDK; 05-09-2008 at 08:49 PM. |

To be fair, "super genius" was always one of Parker's classic traits. Even in the movies he was always top notch with all the science hoo-hah, though not to the point of inventing web-shooters in his bedroom at his his aunt's house. Though if movie Spider-Man didn't get the organic webshooters, he probably could have done it the old fashioned way just as easily.
I'd put the both of them evenly as far as pure brainpower, but Parker is typically a bit better known for thinking on his feet than Stark. So yeah, he's probably more clever. Still, I already summed up how this fight would go down.

Anyway, even in Ultimate Tony's a puss. Spider Man winsssssssss. Fanboyism over: Peter Parker is one of the people bright enough to be Reed Richard's lab assistant, i.e. understand half the crap he spouts. That's a bit brighter than builds metal power suit, gets drunk enough to need another body. I'm not lying about that part.

No, movies are acceptable (except spider man 3). Comics can be awesome and spider/iron man both have a great legacy.
Also, Tony Stark's not a drunk in Iron Man or so I hear. Therefore, not good enough.

Yeah, the thing that started Peter Parker vs Tony Stark was the restriction of the versions that are represented in the movie. I don't see how this is any sort of conflict.
Logically I don't see it working in Spider Man's favor. Really it seems like any time Iron Man has to fight anyone and isn't supposed to serve them a Repulsor Blast Entree of their asshole they just end up ripping off his helmet. That happened in the more recent Captain America before Bucky became Cap, one issue with Spider Man, and numerous times before. I don't see Tony Stark losing unless Parker just happens to have a Spider-Electromagnet or something on his belt. I think Cap used one of those on Tony back in Civil War. Pacified him for like two minutes. Deadpool vs Dante? That's actually a pretty close fight. I can totally see them beating the shit out of each other for hours (Complete with impales, slices, and bullets) and just regenerating while whipping one-liners out on each other.

Deadpool doesn't have super-human strength/speed/etc. He has paragon-level strength/speed/etc. That's far lower than Dante's.
If this were to the death/actual defeat? Yeah, ok, maybe it'd be close. It's to incap, though, so Dante cuts Deadpool's head off/shoots him in the face/whatever. Deadpool's head goes bye bye. He's incapped for a few hours or whatever. By the standards of the fight Dante wins.
