"People"
Inane babbling, verbose fools, never learning, all others are simple tools. A helping hand, I can not have, That band, of fellows I'd like to trust. They have no compassion, They no remorse, my souls assasin, foul folk's discourse. Human Beings.

oh, for treasuries of the spirit
we are all but paupers vagabonds of heavens' glory squand'ring our petty baubles only once shall we partake of this grandest fare suffer us to live it through the world will not again wrapped in shawls of aging stories branded as a bygone peril is love, a heart still beating an entrepeneur of the soul who shall find the trail now lost for ages pioneers of humanity, and never sleeping dreamers the finest of our ilk so trod upon by waking doom often light is scarce in their eyes yet love needs no sight to burn us with its passion to save us as we die and rest forever, but not again |

Inspirational Theft
Useless speech from my burdened mind, Through these sorrowed lips which now curse your name, I no longer have need for words, for I speak no more, You stole my inspiration for life.

Catharsis before Return(?)/Is This Like Dying?
I'm not sleeping
Nor am I truly awake. Unconscious and conscious are starting to blend. My head feels detached and my heart beats too fast and my breath falls too fast and too short and I can't decide how I want things to end. I'm living my life (if it can really be called living) through fantasies and wishes and things-that-might-be. The only escape from daydreams is true dream an unhealthy sleep full of quiet (un?)willing despair. And I know I should stop, and I know I should change But I can't - or won't - or don't understand. What am I waiting for? There will be no catalyst but that of my own design So why do I feel no will? For three days my body's been wasting away but I fear my will (soul?) started first Long, long ago The drugs can sustain me, (I suppose I should eat...) but I need a Hope or a Light. I need a release, simple as that. Pure, no strings attached. But I'm holding out for myself and I don't seem to see Painfully aware of what's going on This feels like despair, but reads more like cheap drama The more words typed should bring about resolution So why not this time? Why am I left hanging? And what the hell do I do? ______________ I hope you'll forgive (and ignore) that bout of self-pity, but I needed to type that. ...I think...

He came upon a community
As the purest soul of unity, And entered in so quietly, As to not disturb the peace. Some folks approached him, burdens bared, He listened to them as they shared, And comforted to show he cared, And their burdens were released. But emotions of his own soon showed, And he started taking on their loads, Brought him to his knees while on the road, But he kept going on. Then while showing good intentions, They were skewed by misconception, And he lost his own direction, Thinkin' that they were gone. Hurting people that he loved, Regretting every single shove, He left them all, flew like a dove, Without saying goodbye... The note was found beside him, Said he was sorry for his lyin', But this should stop his pryin', And that they shouldn't cry. They still don't know why he chose that day to die.

There once was a tiger-striped cat.
The cat died a million deaths and was reborn a million times ... And was owned by various people that he didn't care for. The Cat wasn't afraid to die ... One day the cat was a free cat, a stray cat. He met a white cat, and the two spent their days happily together. Years passed, and the white cat died of old age. The tiger-striped cat cried a million times, and then died. It never came back to life ... - This isn't mine, as many of you probably know. Thought I'd share it just the same.

Fungus Among Us

Blurry
Indistinct... A hazy outline Of a nightmare Compressed and folded By a clouded and bitter rain drop... of blood A crepuscular dim of light Receiving a blurry image in which Captures every vision of hope In the aspect of a faint and baffled dreamer, A brisk shadow watches from a distance Wanting a more lucid moon A shimmer of light reveals upon his prison Reaching down to end A deprived child's sleepless nights He awaits his gateway to freedom And by daybreak, he mourns upon his belief In a blurry puzzle, called life.

What is it all but a broken end,
That day in the life without a friend? They stare at you, like animals. Do you speak the language of some lower mammal? Another a fool, an attention thief. There's no hope for him to turn over a new leaf. The third is worse, they try. Though, I, I can not believe such foolishness goes by. The last is worst, for last is gone. Said once: "Can I make it, the pain, be gone?" Recieve no recognition, more antics beyond my small cognition. A shame intentions can go sour, what they lack is proper power. To make things right, To win the fight, To bring back days that'd shine bright.

This is a prayer for the lonely
can you hear me tonight? broken hearted, battle scarred, I will be by your side. and this is a prayer for the lonely, when your dreams wont come true can you hear this prayer? Cause someone is there for you. ((Not my poem, came with a Nice InuYasha photo)) When Hadoken's fly and fireballs burn Lightning crosses the sky Blades spinning, dancing lights and simple quarterstaffs. a crappy poem to fill up my time and empty from my mind. (My writing has taken a downside. here's an idea: if someone wants to help me out, toss a topic for me to write on after your post. it makes my life easier, and can make for some fun stuff.) |
