my mind
a simple thing
I never would
have thought I could
be excited by
I wonder if
its on purpose
or if he curses
the day he described
a skinny white boy
in lime green sweat pants

I Will Kill the Writers Block

hello Mr. block
I have a treat for you
its death
die!
you're eating up my time
with unproductive thoughts
so be a good little abstract
and die!
I'll help you out
its the least
I could do for something
as devious as yourself

*drowns writers block in a vat of bleach*

lemony fresh!!!!

god damn it, I think writers block must be a seasonal thing, I haven't written anything good in weeks. *mopes*

China doll

You hold me like a china doll,
The gentlest touch, as not to break me,
Stroke my rough hair with the softest hand,
Undress me and then dress me again,
Sit me in a chair and watch me,
Carefully setting me down,
Settling me in to my new surroundings,
And at the same time, playing around,
You treated me as an angel,
White faced and pure,
But then I was yours,
And things started to change,
Now I am alone in this house you bought for me,
With these dishes you beg me to clean,
Once a beautiful china doll,
Now in rags I lay.

in an old yard
a cat did lay
beside her, noisily
a monkey did play

he beat upon a pan
and sang so awfully loud
the poor feline hissed
and then began to growl

the monkey never stopped
he kept on his raucous path
the cat had heard enough
and here's the aftermath

within a dusty yard
a beaten monkey sat
his pots and pans all smashed
by an angry cat

so if you are annoying
and inconsiderate
don't be too surprised
if the cat busts your lip

*bows* thank you and goodnight!

one year,
a bird was flying south
very late in the winter.

it's wings froze over
and it fell
to the ground in a feild.

the bird thought it was going to die
and then a cow came by
and crapped on the sparrow.

oh great,
the sparrow thought
now i die in crap

but the crap warmed the sparrow
it became so happy,
it began to sing gaily.

a cat came by
heard the singing
and promptly ate the bird.

The moral of this story?
Not everyone who gets you into crap is your enemy.
not everyone who gets you out of crap is your friend.
and if your warm and happy, even in a pile of crap, keep your mouth firmly shut!!!

Beat that one, Funka!

*whips a Chocolate chip cookie at Funka by tossing it high into the air, and whipping his dagger so it bounces off at an angle to make the cookie soar at funka* *the dagger falls and slashes deep into Nikose's foot* Ow!

The Demon Slayer

the demons come in droves
from whence no one knows
and though they weild such fearsome might
I doubt that they shall last the night

for what am I but destruction
for evil things, no obstruction
shall stay my hand from its course
no entreaty or deadly force

I am a juggernaut
though deathless foes I fought
they are gone and I still live
what further proof need I give?

(feeling kind of campy for some reason, and thusly you have this ballad of a demon slayer. I've also been getting my ass handed to me by Devil May Cry 3. So... yeah.)

Garden Gnome Revolution

roving bands of garden gnomes
they sit so placidly at home
outside your door so secure
plotting your demise!

you think they're only decoration?
why, they'll over throw the nation!
can't you see the danger?
open your bloody eyes!

they've all the time they need
and so much hate to feed
their sick and twisted minds
just waiting for the time

when they shall finally play
their hands, and on that day
we shall taste the horror
of being tacky furniture!

Devil may cry 3? oh yeah, i remember that game. i played it once or twice. a night. for a week. no sleep. beat it. lost interest. dont ask me for tips. hardly remember anything. LOL.

I still have nightmares about THAT boss... *shudders* if you dont know who I am talking about, you will figure it out eventually.

So you think it's all right to break the rules,
To make a fool of authority, a mockery
of society, maniacally finding the
loopholes, tearing heart and soul
of the main role of those in charge
out in the open, then keep on rollin'
to the next site, no respite,
just keep goin', for there's no knowin'
of where you'll stop, where you'll be,
Cuz when you see new targets,
you leave without a trace, givin' grace
to us all, which ends the brawl, and you fall
back to the crowd, faceless now,
a mask to hide your sweatin' brow,
You run again from your 'friends',
because you just can't wait,
you won't be late to the next stop,
the next crop of innocents,
for we're now diligent and warn the rest
that there's a pest to look out for,
so they close their doors and lock you out,
So you race about, but you don't shout,
Because you're scared that they're out there
to take away your fun, your play,
And so you fall onto your knees,
Because you need, but cannot find,
Those who would just be so kind,
You betrayed us all, and now no call
Can keep you from what you deserve,
For you hit a nerve, and we reacted,
Now we're protective, and too distracted
to come to the aid of one in need...

So now you die, because of greed.

Of creeping drones
and outcropped bones
and necks torn ear to ear."

"Of flesh fresh torn
and fingers worn
and eyes all cold and dead.
And let's not forget
a favorite bit:
decapitated heads."

"Stopping the moans
with shotgun pwns
what isn't there to like?
And best to me,
they're easy to flee
if you happen to have a bike"

"A car, better still
though more run of the mill
makes for interesting games of chance.
Though alone at night,
I suggest you might
just want a change of pants."

For others to see
and laugh pitiously;
it was my fondest hope.
"But what," I then cried,
"if this poem's despised?"
But see, I was able to cope.

These half-dead beasts,
with their horrid feasts
upon their living prey
are never amiss
in a place like this,
so that makes it all okay.

It was harder than most,
this ghastly post;
the rhythm made it hell.
But I take some pride,
all joking aside,
as I think I did rather well.

On another poet whim...

I sit beside my computer and think,
of all the 'people' I have 'known'.
Still frame images, some so bright I blinked,
conversational skills for when I have woes...

I've not heard a voice of another such being
Not until the last eve, but I am yet still deprived:
I have no microphone, no way to share this pitious thing, my voice.
One day I shall have one, one day in not far flung future, spirits revived.

That 'friend' I've had for many years may soon yet hear mine.

[And thanks for the rep FG, I actually thought that was one of my more bland ones.
