Hyperbole and a Half is back. At least for now. The newest post is tragic, and heart wrenching, and hilarious. I'm just glad she's still alive.
She's got a book coming out in October too. So that'll be neat.

One of these years, Tracy will give in and divide Lackadaisy in plot-comics and fun-comics instead of "proper" and "mini-" comics. Because it's actually a massive comic with all the hallmark craftsmanship, research and wit of any Lackadaisy strip, except it's a story about Rocky and Mordecai having waffles and dadaism for lunch. Which while it may not happen in accordance with the overarching story is arguably a decisive and momentous moment such as to outshine even the regular moonshining shenanigans in terms of deep lasting cultural impact because, to reiterate, it's a Lackadaisy strip about Rocky and Mordecai eating waffles and talking philosophy.

It's been a long, long time coming, but Elan finally has his moment completely unmitigated by outside factors.

It's said the person who reads stories lives a thousand lifetimes. That's only the start for a bard, whose intimate knowledge of how stories work can give some insight in the shape of the world; an awareness of truth based on filling in the space of lies surrounding it. Elan here uses only his basic tools of perception, and that's enough to determine that his entire life has become a lie.
Bards: The most, most overpowered class.

The Abyss. Or Tarterus. Either way he's in psycho-Hell. Might be a learning experience, might be a throw-away gag in the first panel of the next strip.
