Naruto rp: A True Genin 1b

It was a sunny beautiful day, one for sleeping and lying about, but unfortunately that was not in the cards for Ryo today. He had been called in to speak to the Tsuchikage about today’s Genin graduates. He was proud to have watched his big brother reach the age of a Genin at 12 today. It wasn’t a surprising age to reach the order of Genin but he had achieved it with ease. He knew his big brother would be able to become the next Tsuchikage as well, as long as he got the proper training, and Ryo would be proud to be the Jounin to train the next Tsuchikage.

He strolled into the Tsuchikage’s room and bowed to honor him as he had done every day since he had come to the hidden rock village. “Greetings, how do you fare today father.”

The aging man looked up from his scroll, his blue eyes seeming as passive as the sea. “Ah Ryo, its good to see you my son. It’s time for you to train the next group of shinobi so our fighting forces will be able to handle anything that comes our way.”

“I shall teach them the ways of the shinobi so that they may protect those who are precious to them.”

The Tsuchikage smiled, “I knew you would say that,” He pulled a scroll from his sleeve and handed it to Ryo, “Here is your assignment, I expect them to be the finest our military has to offer when they have finished training with you.”

Ryo opened up the scroll and a disappointed look appeared on his face. “Sir you mus-“

The Tsuchikage merely held up his hand to stop Ryo’s argument, “Kaito.” Ryo appeared visibly shocked at the mention of his true name, “I see great promise in these three boys, as I saw great promise in you. Please follow this old mans wishes.”

“As you wish father.” Ryo bows and walks out of the Tsuchikage’s room, he headed to the school to find his three new students.

All of your training and study has finally paid off. Today is your first day as a true shinobi, as a fully fledged Genin. You all know that you have taken the first step towards your goal. That because of this day, you will be able to achieve anything. But as all good things come with bad ones its time for a tearful goodbye for all your other fellow Hidden Rock comrades, save two. You’ve all been made aware of the splits in the teams, that the teams were split to insure balance between those with skill and those without. Depending on how your adventures fare you shall know which side of that scale you were placed upon.

The students excited conversations continue as group by group is pulled away by their new jounin teachers. Soon the three of you are left alone waiting for your new instructor to arrive.

It appears that he is late.

*that morning* The sun was slowly rising into the sky, The air was brisk but not cold. Kyosuke was outside. "1997, 1998, 1999, 2000!" Kyosuke panted. He looked at the boulder he had been punching. "Tsk, I can do better then that."

"Its almost time for you to go to the academy." Kyo heard behind him.

Kyo Turned and looked at the man addressing him. It was his father. He was smoking his morning pipe and watching the sun rise. Kyosuke wiped sweat from his brow and put his jacket on, slipping his arms through its flowing sleeves and making sure the tight body of it clung correctly. "I suppose I should get breakfast and leave then." He glanced at the boulder and gave it one final punch feeling it give a little under his fist and a few chips fly off. "Someday I'll break them with one punch." He said to his father.

His father walked over to him and Punched the boulder his son had been working on. He focused his Chakra into his fist upon the strike and sent out several sharp bones, The boulder split and cracked apart against the powerful blow.

Kyo looked at his fathers work. "Che...I have to get to the academy, and find out who is on my team." Kyo picks up his head band and ties it over his shoulder and makes sure his weapons are steady in their slots. He walks off toward the academy. Eager to start pushing himself further.

*later at the academy*

"tsk, Figures our Sensei would be late. Knowing the Hokage we probably got the worst one." Kyosuke shakes out his body limbering up and goes into a fighting stance. He uses a style that members of the Kaguya Clan favor. He begins to move through his stances in a sort of shadow boxing display. "I just want to get started." He comments between forms, "I hate sitting around." Kyo stops to looks at his Classmates. "You guys better not hold me back. I intend to have a perfect mission record." Kyo moves over to his bag and takes out a bottle of milk, and begins to drink it slowly. Watching the door with great intent.



(OOC: The Style I am going to be using is very similar to Muay Thai. It seems appropriate given the clans Abilities. Super hard bones and the like.)

[Kima Azure]

Kenta was sitting on the ground, cleaning a kunai. "Geez, man, you are really jumpy today, aren't you? Relax! We won't be too far behind..."

[Ryu Kurai]

Kiyaro remained leaning on the wall, eying his two comrades. Had he really felt like it, he could have killed them right there. One was drinking some milk and the other cleaning the kunai. He imagined himself planting the one cleaning the kunai right in the side of the neck with his own weapon, then spinning around and tossing a shuriken right between the other's eyes as he looked around, startled by the gurgling of his dying comrade.

He also imagined them with Konoha headbands.

He scoffed at the milk drinker's comment on a perfect record. "Hmph. You shouldn't worry about failing our missions, you should worry about surviving them." He said with a slight grin, removing a spare toothpick he kept in his pocket for an emergency and began spinning it around on his fingers with the practiced agility the young assassin had worked on for so many years...

[Mintaro]

Kyo raises his bottle toward Kiyaro in a recognizing gesture. "Indeed, but if I fail I will most likely be dead so, I hardly see the point in thinking on it." He laughed to himself and finished the bottles contents. He put the top on it and places it back inside his bag. "Ah yes, always with the dark sentiments." He thought to himself. Kyo took up a relaxed looking stance against the wall. Flexing and un-flexing his hands listening to the bones crack and shift as he dose so.

Directing his gaze at Kenta he replies to his earlier statement. "And being behind is always the most fun. Its wonderful to see the look on everyones face when you surpass them completely." He grinned carelessly showing a set of perfect teeth. "Besides, I'm not the one thats late."

[Ryu Kurai]

Kiyaro made a bit of a grunt at Kyo's comment, listening as he continued speaking. "Indeed. This Jounin had best be all he's cracked up to be, what with being last. Not going to make a very good first impression..." He spun the toothpick and caught it in mid-air with a flash of his hand.

"Late yes and the best as well." The reply to Kiyaro had come from above. Sitting on top of the wall finishing a bowl of ramen sat a man in the traditional Jounin outfit. His outfit had one clear difference from all the other jounin's you've seen pick up students though, his belt has a bloodied hidden leaf headband hanging from it. The other clear difference is his eyes, they are a pale white, like a thin sheet of ice covering a window. He sloppily slurps up noodles as he continues speaking, "Now, as for testing into the genin rank I must applaud you all." His garbled words barely audible of his slurping, he sucks in a large gasp of air after finishing his noodles. "Ah, that was good that old noodle woman truly knows what she's doing. Either way its truly not my worry whether or not I make a good impression on you three. My only goal is to make sure you are the finest soldiers the hidden rock clan has to offer, or I'll watch you die trying. Its up to you to survive."

He paused for a moment as he lifted the bowl to his lips to drink the remaining broth. "Now to get to your first task to prove your worth, are you all ready for the final genin test."

[Ryu Kurai]

Kiyaro barely heard a word that the Jounin said. All of his attention was focused on the headband hanging from Ryo's belt. This guy has killed Konoha ninja? He thought to himself, nearly stating it out loud before he heard the Jounin's last words. "Of course I am. I didn't train all my life for nothing." He said sarcastically, closing his eyes with a nasty grin running across his face.

[Mintaro]

"Tsk, I have to agree with Kiyaro there. Why would I be here if I wasn't ready to prove my worth." Kyo then thought to himself "Not that I need to prove my worth" Kyosuke pushed off of the wall and began limbering himself again. "So what is this final test? More ninjutsu?" Kyo Hoped indeed that it wasn't more of that, He had never been so great with the more advanced ninjutsu. In fact he had only recently mastered the ones necessary to pass the first test. Kyosuke pulled out his Wooden Baton off of his back. "Maybe...we are to spar against the other teams?" Kyo smiled with enthusiasm.

[Kima Azure]

Kenta got up, sighing. His two partners were too creepy. In fact, he couldn't help but wonder whether Kiyaro or whatever his name was really wanted to help them.

Oh well, that was just a random comment of his. He put his own knife in his kunai pocket* and leaned against the wall. "It's likely so. I mean, everyone wants to become Tsuchikage, right? It always ends with people beating each other up with their best jutsus... and something like that."
