Help us Help you: DxDiags and new threads

When posting about computer issues, we understand it can be very frustrating when something stops working and you need help. However, when we are not there in person, there's not a whole lot we can do without getting detailed information from you.

I'd recommend that when you make a new thread, attaching a DxDiag can mean the difference between 10 posts trying to figure out the problem, or 1 quick solution.

To get a DxDiag:
On XP: Click Start > Run > Type dxdiag > Click Save all information > Save the text file.

On Vista: Click Start(Windows Logo) > In the search bar type dxdiag > Save all information > Save the text file.

It's really simple, and it's not a danger for someone to break into or access your system.
