So tomorrows upgrade day for my phone
Long story short, tomorrow I'm going to verizon to upgrade my phone. Mostly because my family is under the same plan so while I technically don't want to upgrade away from my beloved Xperia Play 3G (seriously sony why you no make new Xperia Play!? >_<) . I may have to since it did fall in a toilet that one time. And even though I saved it (because I got really fucking lucky) through proper drying, it still has the risk of shorting out.
So, personally I have my eyes set on getting a Xperia Play 4G. It's virtually the same save for being slightly faster and it's not black but it's kinda a nice stealth blue color and it still has the slide out built-in playstation gamepad I love to death and back (so sexy X3). But in the sick and twisted chance that god decides to rip me away from my beloved gaming phone. What Smart Phone do you think I should get to fill the void? Nothing $250 or over.

From what I've seen, that 4G thing was just added by AT&T...and the phone's just a regular Xperia Play, only blue.
And with an AT&T logo.

So it seems the Xperia play was discontinued. So I went back to getting a samsung phone like normal (this time I got a Galaxy S3). And yes I still have my Xperia Play, I'm not getting rid of it. It's basicly an android powered, handheld console right now.
So after being trapped in a mall for 2 hrs waiting for our phones and new contract to be ready. I get home, put the little one to bed. and surf the web for answers as to when Sony discontinued the phone. Then I found this... Maybe there's hope, for this unique gaming phone after all. I hope Sony reads that. The Xperia Play has a lot of potintial to close the gap between gaming handheld and Smart Phone. All it needs is some new, better specs and love.
