very newbie-ish question

I'm very sorry for posting a thread on this but I couldn't find out how to do this any where. I really need to know how to use a sprite sheet. yes that's it. I said that it was noobish.

Well, that very much depends on what for. Most people select the sprites they want from them, copy them and paste them into whatever image they want them in. Just select a rectangle around them and remove the background colour from the selection.

Depends on your graphics program how exactly you do that. Get acquainted with what you use and the solution should open itself. (And if you're already lost at "copy and paste," I strongly suggest investing some more time in getting to know your computer. )
