The Thing Mafia: official sign-up, finally

This is a mafia game based on The Thing. You are a team of 10-20 people stranded where one of you is The Thing. The Thing will be able to infect someone every other night (starting with the first night) with the goal of outnumbering the survivors 2 to 1. In the event of The Thing's death another infected is chosen to infect others. Survivor victory is achieved when all infected are dead. There will also be some special units who will have abilities I will not share openly, but only if we get atleast 15 people playing. Initially each in game day will be 72 hours, with 24 hour night. Hours might be shorten or lengthened depending on the situation.

Special units

Medic: can test 2 people a night for infection

Jailer: can lock up one player. Player cannot vote or become infected but can be tested and lynched. Cannot imprison the same person twice in a row.

Security: Each night he can look up security cameras to see who was with another character the night before.

Scientist: Every other night the scientist may examine a dead body to confirm if it was The Thing or just a random infected (will only use if we have atleast 15 players)

The Thing: Every other night infects another player

Infected: Those taken over by The Thing

Even after I learned, grew up, and came to be on the right side of a lot of important issues, I was still angry, abrasive, and generally increased the amount of hate in the world, in pretty unacceptable ways. On the off chance that someone is taking a trip down memory lane looking through those old threads, I wanted to devote my signature to say directly to you, I'm sorry.
