Anyone been following? Thoughts on the Night-o-Sphere? Or Finn's relationship with Flame Princess?

After months of forgetting to see the new episode on Monday, and consequently missing enough episodes to shame a luddite, I finally tune in at 8:00... only to find out that the show's timeslot has been moved to 7:30 since the last time I saw it!

I've seen pretty much every episode since it started. It's easily one of the greatest things I've ever seen.

Like, it's just pitch perfect for me. The humor, the character development, everything. I go into a bliss coma as soon as I start a new episode.

This is a pretty good way of describing the show. It just blends all the best parts of whatever it's drawing inspiration from and leaves the rest behind. I think Fifth weighed in on this and said something to the same effect - that it was like a fantasy adventure minus everything weighing down fantasy adventures.

And even when we didn't care about back story stuff like why the Ice King was a creepy old dude, they actually went and told this story anyway and it was still gross and hilarious.

And just... the dialog. Whoever delivered the line My life is like a fart with such a sincere sob of desperation just deserves oscars and grammys and stuff.

I'm just gonna say, if this whole "Finn and Flame Princess" thing actually is A Thing For Reals, and we somehow by some miracle get Bubblegum and Marceline to be, like, one of the few same-sex couples in animation ever, I'm OK with it.

Ok, so it's also a step further to my dream of a Revolutionary Girl Utena episode starring them, but details!

Also maybe it's kinda funny/cute seeing Finn try and work things out with a Tsundere with a literally fiery personality, especially the whole "Mistaken for Water Elemental" thing.

...let's just hope she doesn't try and get someone to take Finn back to his "native element". I mean, 90-ish percent of his body may be water, but last I recall, air is kinda important to humans. :V
