The Prisoners of Time Chapter 1: Awakening

[Sithdarth]

You awake to find yourself inside a seemingly empty room. All you can remember off the pervious day is metting someone new. After that everything blurrs together into a surreal dream of black clad figures and hushed voices. When you awake you find yourself dressed as you had been right after your return. All around the room metal doors stand closed. 15 of the doors have a small numbered plate on them. The plates read: 16-15, 183-13, 1002-11, 3277-9, 7008-7, 10011-5, 9010-3, 3433-1, 6007-2, 8009-4, 6007-6, 2913-8, 911-10, 169-12, and 15-14. The rest are undorned and look quite useless. At you feet is another numbered plate. (The number displayed depends on the room in which you are in currently which I have told everyone incase you want to keep track of your progress.) The numbered doors bear a striking resemblance to the doors normally found on a submarine. In fact the entire room has the feel of a submarine or other large navy vessel. Metal is everywhere, bolts and flanges stick out at odd angles and that sterile metal smell is almost smothering.

ooc: I figured why reinvent the wheel so I copied and pasted with a little editing. Again I ask that you don't share starting room numbers which correspond to the numbers on the plate on the floor. Oh and I decided it will be easier on me if the plates above the doors contain the -number infromation so I can keep track of things.

[Mintaro]

Ash looks up at the doors. "Well then, so many choices." Ash looks down and back up at the variouse doors. "Only way out is through a door." He Scratches his chin. "Well this one looks interesting." Ash Aproaches door 3433-1 and opens it up to reveal!!!

[Sithdarth]

As he opens the door a very new stench fills the room. Almost instantly you realize what it is because only on thing smells like that, rotting flesh. At first glance the walls appear to be painted red. A quick check reveals that the walls are actually caked with blood. Blood that's been there for quite some time and dried. No body can really be seen but it's not hard to imagine that everything is there on the walls, ceiling, or floor.

ooc: Congratulations on saving yourself from a quick and horrible death by not simply walking into a room.

"huh, whu..." Alex woke up in a haze, he wasn't sure where he'd been or if he ever wanted to go back their again. He had a stiff pain in his stomach, so he was fairly positive he didn't want to go back there. He looked around and realized that this mystery just got a little more complicated. "Where am I?" He said.

Yes alex, someones going to respond to that in a large metal room that you don't remember going into. Studying the doors Alex lets out a low whistle. "Now this is fancy, metal everywhere and not a drop to.. drink." Alex was never very good with quotes. "Fifteen numbered doors, a door numbered fifteen. Prophetic." He walks to the door numbered 15 and grasps the handle and flicks it open, but instead of entering instinctively he turned and read the number of the floor, "thats an unnecessarily large sqaure number on the floor." He turns back to the door to see what he got himself into.

[Mintaro]

Ash quickly shuts the door and puts his back to it breathing hard. "Woah...Wrong door."

Ash moves back to the center of the room and looks at the doors again. "Well, prime numbers arn't the answer. Lets try similar numbers." With that Ash walks over to door 16-15. Opening it to look inside carefully once again.

[Raiden]

Thomas woke up, his head feeling a little woozy.

"Huh, wha-? What time is it?" He looked down at his watch. 11:30.

"Holy Christ! I'm late for Psych! Crap, crap, crap, crap!" Thomas rolled over, and hit his head against a metal wall.

"Grrrr... This day keeps getting better and better." Thomas then looked around. He was in a large metal room with several doors in it.

"Wherever I am, it sure as hell ain't my dorm room. It's too clean for that." Thomas checked his pockets.

"Well, at least I still have my GBA with me." Thomas walked up to the doors, and looked around. He went up to the door 7008-7, and stopped.

"I like this door. Well, there's really only two things you can do with a door. Leave it shut, or..." Thomas grabbed the handle, and opened it wide enough for him to see inside, but would be able to close it fast enough if he needed.

[Sithdarth]

You all see rooms equally as empty as the one that you left. Aside from the oppressive silence nothing seems worng. Looking in you can see some more doors but from your vantage point you can't make out the numbers over the doors. At this point the room looks just as safe as the one your in now and sitting still isn't going to get you anywhere.

[Raiden]

Thomas tentively steps into the room, being wary of traps. He was starting to be a little freaked out about this. All of a sudden, the memory of a movie he watched a while back came to his mind. Some crazy diseased guy captures people and puts them into situations where they either solve puzzles, or die. He quickly put it out of his head. The less he had to worry about, the better.

Thomas looked at the doors and looked at the numbers.

Thomas sees 14 doors along the far wall numbered, 14-13, 144-11, 703-9, 2003-7, 3576-5, 3862-3, 1717-1, 3433-2, 5149-4, 4291-6, 2289-8, 781-10, 157-12, and 15-14. On the wall you just came from you see even more doors numbered, 16-15, 196-13, 1156-11, 4096-9, 9556-7, 15016-5, 15016-3, 6436-1, 12871-2, 20021-4, 18019-6, 10921-8, 4551-10, 1261-12, and 211-14. Aside from what appears to be a piece of a shirt torn off in a fight the room is empty.

Alex strolled into the next room. "Looks like someone built one hell of a fun house." he said closing the door behind him. no point in letting out a draft. He casually moves to the next set of doors and makes a quick check for their numbers, "No point in choosing randomly, it never helped me solve the rubix cube." He was beginning to worry about the growing trend of talking to himself.
