The Secret of Castle Doom Discussion Thread

To all newcomers and would-be participants: As Rhiya has said earlier, the bio, stats, abilities, etc of your character is up to you, as long as it remains in MEDIEVAL style. HOWEVER, I do accept certain "technological" races such as the Modrons(robot-like creatures). Just post it up in a full-bio form(with Name, Age, Race, Class, Alignment, Background, etc) and I'll look it through to see if you have any problems.

To Newb: Your character's fine, though i would appreciate it if you'll put up more detail in description and background. Anyway, there's two things you should know. First, is that I will NOT tolerate single-sentence posts and I will definitely not tolerate any long term inactiveness unless you give a reason. Your posts must AT LEAST be a paragraph long. Second, if you wish to look at our Bios, you have to dig up for our the "Battle of Castle Doom" thread, which is probably WAY back a dozen or so pages. Good luck in finding them, coz I'm too lazy to do it for you.

To Rhiya: I can probably bring in a host of lesser Abishai or Cornugons if you want. Or maybe if you're luck, a Glabrezu or two would be good.

i just did a forum search for castle doom. I found most of the bios littered through it, but I couldn't find the bio for everyone in it. I'm gonna look at the other castle doom threads to see if they're in there.

It should be in the first one. I can't remember whether I posted a sign-up thread or not. If I did, it should be there. If not, it should be in the thread entitled "Battle of Castle Doom" without any extra titles on it.

Yeah, when I looked through it again I found everyone's bio except for Shuren's
I'm gonna have to look through the other ones I guess, although I might as well do that anyway to understand the backstory better so that I don't say things like "when did that happen?"

Double Post: Just a question here - Do you guys want to add in D&D stuff such as the various Gods, Planes, magic, weapons, etc? That way we could probably broaden this RP further by going into our very own favourite D&D Planes. I would definitely like to visit the City of Sigil(or the Cage as they call it). It would definitely be a great place to RP, since it opens alot of opportunities for intrigue and mystery. And besides, I want to "sort out" alot of the unanswered questions in the Planescape: Torment story, like who the Lady of Pain was or whay happened to the Nameless One and his band of heroes.

Even visiting the Sword Coast would be fun....or Icewind Dale.

Imagine putting Drizzt Do'Urden or Elminster into the story. :O

Sounds interesting, but if we just visit every place we feel like, sooner or later we'll end up on the discworld, and that would be a pain in the ass for a serious RP. It seems to already be causing problems in calvinball XXV and that is the least serious RP I've seen in this forum..

Not if we control it well. If we keep this RP to only the SERIOUS RPERS(like us), it will definitely go smooth. We just have to make sure we discuss about everything and make corrections if things go wrong. I think from now on(you're not included), any member that wants to join has to send me a "test" RP post, just to see their capabilities. I don't want to have any random newbies coming in to ruin the RP.

LOL, I'm beginning to have serious ambitions for this RP.

Oh yeah, btw, I forgot to mention an additional rule: You may only post a maximum of TWO posts per "round". A round is when EVERYONE else has posted. This way, it keeps the RP from getting too far ahead if someone happens to be inactive or does not RP on a daily(like Obsolete, though he isn't inactive).
