They where advanced but they weren't quite perfect. IE Picard's had to be replaced and Nog had trouble with his at first. They also made Nog's leg seem somewhat clumsy and really obvious to anyone with a casual glance. I was wondering how much better they might have gotten and if it could be concealed better now. Maybe covered in artificial skin. (I don't think Nog's was.)

Yeah, but even the Borg's artificial limbs were kinda unwieldy and stupid, so I can't imagine the Federation doing much better.

Been craving a futuristic RP. I suppose Star Trek will have to do, it's easier than homebrew!
Expressing interest in playing a human medical officer, or "the doctor." I suppose that makes me a Lieutenant maybe. I don't know Star Trek ranks all that well. |

I'll just have to take care to hide it well.
Oh and what do you think of a half Betazoid half Vulcan Science officer who likes to act completely logical but then randomly throw out a joke from his betazoid half just to unbalance people? |

The Pon Farr is a dangerous thing indeed. Plus I love the idea of a vulcan that's constantly trying to control his emotions while being constantly bombarded by everyone else's emotions.

Well, really, a Betazoid wouldn't be a terrible match for a Vulcan. Both species have telepathic abilities, meaning that they might be able to emotionally bond (Vulcan's do still have emotions, they just keep them in check) in a more internal manner, which a Vulcan would be very comfortable with.

Okay, looks like we have a few people already interested so we might as well get the ball rolling on official sign-ups.
Roles desired so far: Executive Officer - POS Chief Engineer - KP Chief of Science - Sithdarth Chief Medical Officer - Azisien Chief Bartender or Something - Demetrius Counselor - IHMN Senior Tactical Officer - Barahad Security Officer - Mesden Arhra hasn't called anything yet, so there's still some room to work with. Jobs like Helmsman, Operations Manager, or Counselor are still available, as well. Also, profile template is go, with seven self-explanatory categories: NAME: DESIRED RANK: POSITION: SPECIES: AGE: APPEARANCE: BIO: PERSONALITY: I'll get the ball rolling on my own character: NAME: Mo'Vaht Resz DESIRED RANK: Commander POSITION: Executive Officer SPECIES: Andorian AGE: 29 APPEARANCE: 5'10", blue skin, pale green eyes, antennae, short white hair. Pretty normal looking Andorian. BIO: On his first assignment after being recently promoted to the rank of Commander, Mo Resz's Starfleet career had perhaps its greatest momentum during the Dominion War, raising through the ranks from a Junior Lieutenant to Lieutenant Commander in only a few short years as tactical officer aboard the Defiant-class USS Bushido. During the war, he met and eventually married an Andorian Imperial Security officer named Tarema P'Trehn (now Resz), with whom he has a two-year-old daughter named Mela. Both currently reside on Andoria. PERSONALITY: Commander Resz is a very capable officer, but overly cautious and can appear unconfident and indecisive at times. Despite this, he is quick to act in more dangerous situations and has a promising career ahead of him in command. That is, if he can get used to the idea of sitting in the big chair.
