They're not brother and sister! None of the Link's and Zeldas ever have marital relations. It's kinda like this,

I think the idea of Link and Zelda being brother and sister came from the more recent gamecube zelda game where Links sister is mistaken for Zelda. If you played through the game you would now that.

In the SNES Zelda, as Link's uncle is dying he says something to the effect of "You have to do it... Zelda's your..." and then dies. So you have to become partially suspicious at this point. As for how I know for sure that Zelda is Link's sister, I can't put my finger on it. As far as I know, it's semi-common knowledge, google it and see if you can find something. Or better yet, I'll look and if I find something, I'll post it here.

Alright, so after a quick (and I mean really quick, I'm in a hurry) check, I didn't find anything. Maybe I imagined it, but it just seems to fit, doesn't it? And plus, wasn't there some story revealed in OoT that suggested that the dynamic duo were siblings? Maybe from the owl? Or maybe I made that up too. :fighter: Anyway, if you're at least HALFWAY interested it might be worth a quick search on the internet. If they ARE brother and sister, it's obvious that neither one of the two knows it, because you'd think that Zelda would mention it when she sends you to do all her bitch work in OoT.
