Okay, there's a ton of controversy about this, but... Is Sheik male or female?! I mean, I know he/she is Zelda's alter ego, but they even call him/her a guy in Ocarina of Time. So which is it? :fighter:

They call her a guy, cuz we're link in the game, and he thinks she's a he.

Um...Since he's really just a disguise used by Zelda, he's really a she. People just call him a "he" in order to avoid spoilers.

In SSBM, one of Sheik's trophies says that Zelda changes her "eve" when she transforms. Dictionary.com doesn't give me a definition where it could fit that context, so I'm gonna call it weird language and assume it's another way to say gender. I think Sheik really is male. Remember, when she transforms, her hair style and eye color also change, so she's using magic, not just ninja-disguise techniques.

God, yes Sheik is a chick. If you see a person, and they look like a guy, what are you going to refer to them with? He/him/blah/whatever. It doesn't matter if they're really a girl, YOU don't know that. That's why Link, and anyone else, talks to her like she's a guy.

You're right, it couldn't. Because you would never say "she changes her eyes," you would say "she changes her eye color." So unless they made a double error, it can't be that.

Yes it can. Who said anything about having to be a precision Nazi about it? "Changing the eye" works just fine in place of "Changing the eye color".

Can't we all just agree that she just used the Triforce of Wisdom's magic to change her shape and be done with it? Because if I had a Triforce and it DIDN'T allow me get an instant sex change, I would feel very, very ripped off.
