Sherlock Holmes
This movie is out right now. None of you got a chance of seeing it yet?
I won't be able to get my hands on this one for some time, so don't rub it on my face, just go watch it and let me know if it's good. We'll call it my Christmas Present ... Also, from the little i got from reading it around about it, Best Sherlock and Best Watson on movie ever done. And it's somewhat like what it would be if House MD was an action show instead of a Medical show. But seems worth watching! |

Does Downey make a better Stark or Sherlock?

I saw it last night and it was pretty damn enjoyable.
Better Stark, but that was only reinforced by the amazing Iron Man 2 preview on the Holmes movie. |

Downey was a good Holmes, and Jude Law did quite well as Watson too. |

I always though Holmes was a blonde(?)
yeah, the dialogue between Holmes and Watson was my favorite. The scene where Holmes was left tied to a bedpost naked was hilarious!, the theatre went nuts during it.

Almost every time there was action, there was also some mystery solving and logic work.

I really liked the film. And action scenes were a mix of logic and Holmes being "smarter than you". They showed how, when he fought, he'd already played through every step of what he did based on his inspection of the person he was fighting.
But most of the movie was based around Sherlock Holmes analyzing EVERYTHING.

Too much awesome for such a small space. Oh well. You can still punch your mother...if you want... Is Moriarty in this movie?
a little part of me would die of joy if he was not and for some divine godly reason on the sequel for this movie they casted Hugh Laurie as Moriarty... |

He played a minor role, but they set him up as the big bad for the sequel
