No numbers hereAppearance: Elvaan Male standing at roughly six feet. Tgor sports black hair and green eyes, a lithe frame adorned with compact muscles from constant training. Does not bother with wearing any sort of armor, instead opting for the freedom of mobility his normal loose-fitting attire allows: white shirt, black pants.

Background: During Tgor's early years, he had fallen prey to a crippling illness that left him bedridden. His family at the time lived in a rural area a good distance away from the nearest village with proper healing support. While his father was traveling, a traveling monk was passing by, listened to the man's story about his ailing child, and asked to be taken to the boy. The father, grateful that someone offered help, took the man home. The monk kneeled down next to Tgor, meditated throughout the evening, and layed hands on the child. Tgor could feel a sudden warmth as the monk's energies rid his body of impurities. Amazed by the experience, Tgor joined a monastery soon after, determined to improve his body, his mind, and his life. He actually discovered a hidden joy for combat, and is now enthralled by the thrill of engagement. He has currently left the monastery to view other fighting styles in an attempt to improve his own efforts. The Adventurer's Guild offers a myriad of experiences to those looking for battle.


I don't know if it's weird to have a character with such high STR, but low VIT. I figure it's just a measure of having a refined technique versus not being able to take a punch well at all.

Oh yeah, I haven't had the weapon special ability approved yet. Whoops. The knockback is for interrupting spells.

EDIT: Thanks Menarker, I ended up losing count somewhere in the process. I've now decided to put my Two-Weapon skill at infinity.

Axl, you seem to have a bit too many skill points. You got like 32 skill points and since Monks have normally 16 and you got 3 INT, you should only have 19 unless I missed something. Also, Two Weapon Fighting is at 9, which seems to be impossible at second level or for anyone who doesn't have the required 8 rating.

EDIT: I just noticed that the Two weapon fighting skill level is an aspect of your Monk's unique ability. But is the bonus supposed to be at 9? Or did you add extra points to the basic "max" of 8 or is the max actually supposed to be your current dex rating?

I'm looking at the description of Martial Arts, which says, in part, that an unarmed Monk deals the same damage as if he had his primary weapon equipped, just without special effects; and Weapon Master, which says the character can, by spending a destiny point, use objects to do the same damage as his primary weapon without special effects; and I'm wondering why invest in overlapping dealies?

Because even though numbers and whatnot are important, some things are just plain cool if the opportunity ever presents itself.

Weapon Master allows you to use anything as a viable weapon. That sorta deal opens alot of rad possibilities.
