Loading Multiple Flash Videos in Firefox

I've been encountering problems lately where Flash suddenly stops working when I'm trying to queue up several videos in tabs to watch later. I wouldn't be too surprised by this, it makes sense that having a lot of video loaded would cause caching problems, except that I've only started encountering problems in the last week. Furthermore, I don't get the normal Firefox plugin crash message. Instead, the flash window turns white with a grey exclamation point in a circle. So anyone know what's going on? Am I just loading too much data, or is there something else up?

That sounds a lot like NoScript blocking things. Not exactly the same, but what are your plugins?

I have quite a few plugins, most of them irrelevant. What would I be looking for in particular? You mention NoScript, which I don't use, but I do have the AdBlock Plus add-on and the Element Hiding Helper. I'm not sure how those would affect anything though.

Adblock sometimes makes videos fail at loading or playing. I haven't used Firefox in a while though, and I don't remember seeing the ! in a circle.

Yeah, looking at an example right now, it's almost certainly not AdBlock. If I mouse-hover, the AdBlock button appears just like for a non-blocked flash element. Also, it's not that the video is prevented from loading or playing. Every flash window I have open will just suddenly cease to function, whether I'm watching it or not, instead turning into this: http://i56.tinypic.com/jfzz86.png

i would make a small test just to make sure... get a Portable copy of Firefox. One of those that you don't have to install, just google "Download Firefox Portable" don't worry, it's not illegal.

Than, with this 100% clean version of Firefox that won't conflict with yours, just see if the same problem happens again. If it does, the problem is something else, if it dosen't it's on your Firefox.

Also, just to be sure, check your Java and Flash updates

I reinstalled flash after I first noticed the problem. I haven't tried Java yet. Also, I'll test with the portable version eventually, but since it takes several hours to preload the amount of video that seems to trigger the problem, I can't do that at the moment.
