Making it happen.

@tactics: The forest you're missing: It's a joke. I was joking. Roy's the main character, so it stands to reason that the only thing that could kill him is the one thing with a proven track record for doing so: The ground.
Speaking more practically, though: Thog's last attack failed to kill him. Unless Burlew intends to spend the entirety of the next page having Thog continue to beat up Roy till he dies (which would be awkward writing, considering there was the perfect opportunity to off him in that last panel), it's probably a safe bet that he won't die today. This isn't an Anyone Can Die setting; major character deaths will have a purpose or reason (i.e. Belkar's prophecy). There's no particular purpose to having Roy die here, unlike in Azure City where it helped seal the impression that Xykon was well and truly a major threat. Quote:
I have to wonder what -mancy Carmen Sandiego and RED Spy might be practicing.

Really, my ignorance is terribly embarrassing in this post.
Ah, my bad. Sorry. I sometimes need a large sign to tell me these things. I see now. Whoops. Thanks!

Okay, so, my ignorance is embarrassing today. Who? Quote:
Potential (from canon) list of likely candidates based off of puns (i.e. the typical way of doing it): - (Discipline): Findamancy, Lookamancy, Foolamancy. - (Classes): Spookism, Eyemancy, Naughtymancy, Clevermancy - (Element): Matter? Motion? - (Axis): I dunno, maybe Erf? Numbers, perhaps? Axis: I really don't know. Numbers make some sense (hard to find, games rely on numbers, it's weak I know) as does Erf ('cause, um... erf it to erf, I don't erfin' know, it's erf). Element: I (sort of) chose the ones that aren't life, because neither of them are based in real life, while the spy had their video own game, Carmen had her own cartoon and game show, all of which had motion. That said, they only thing they all for sure had in common was Matter (the material they were all printed on), but then again, that's always a tenuous link at best. So I dunno. Classes: Spookism for "spy" puns; Eyemancy for the obvious "find it"/spying, etc puns; Naughtymancy because all the spies and Carmen were naughty; Clevermancy because all of this was meant to be intellectual in some way. Since the Disciplines are found in the Elements Hocus Pocus and Eyemancy, I'm going to presume the Eyemancy is the right one. It has motion (viable with their games, shows, and cartoons) and although it contains life, there [I]was[I] a live-action Carmen show. So, you know. That means it's likely they practic Lookamancy or Foolamancy. As far as elements, after looking, it's kind of humorous that Lookamancy is Erf and Foolamancy is Numbers... and I really don't know which would be greater, so I'll presume a narrowing down to those two. Feel free to show me why I'm (probably) wrong, however! Magic-stuff can be found here if anyone cares to. E: Overcast, when I first started this I thought for sure that there was a Puzzlemancy category somewhere, but, nope. Quote:

All this Order of the Stick has reminded me. I gotta introduce ya'll to Cucumber Quest. It's by the person who did all those Persona and MGS comics you all love, but it's her own original crappy RPG story. It's supposed to update Tuesdays and Sundays, but it updates all the time.
I need you guys to post whenever it updates. This is also how I follow Lackadaisy.

Cucumber Quest is definitely one of my favorite webcomics lately. I follow her on Twitter to keep track of updates.

The brilliance of Alex saying his pants are one of the most important things in Videoland is that his controller is on those pants.

But really, the comic has shown that the McNinja family working together is immune to the Conservation thing. Together they've beaten ghosts and pirates and dinosaurs and other stuff beyond what I can remember off the top of my head.
