Clearly, BM is speaking in his own colloquial dialect. Duh.

That's something I've been wondering, too. To me it seems he would be, if only because it seems to be fitting that he'd be defeated by his own scheme. Also because otherwise after defeating Chaos the Light Warriors presumably would still have to deal with an omnipotent wizard older than the universe. Could go either way though.

I wonder if Thief has worked out a loophole where he can ask Chaos questions without actually taking credit for them.
...In the meantime, we wait for Fighter to finish playing with his sword offscreen >_>

9/10 =/= 80%
You're kinda bad at math. OR, failing that, you're good at math, but are terrible at fractions, percentages, and their relativity to one another.

I'm pretty sure what Chaos (if that really is Chaos, and not some lame boss from Fire Emblem) is doing here counts as gloating. Apparently they don't have the Evil Overlord list
in the yawning chasm between existence.Or Chaos(same disclaimer applies) didn't read it. Seriously, when you have the superweapon, you *fire it*! Also:correct order-kill everything, then gloat. |

I don't think 8-bit Theater has any actuall filler, in the real, actual sense of the word. The (admittedly, many) comics where the story changes pace (to a crawl, or comes to a screetching halt, or veers wildly off course... but I digress) are still part of the storyline, or a humorous aside, or a page-sized equivalent of a beat panel. Actual filler would be a random piece of art entirely unrelated to the current story and sometimes even the comic itself; a random placeholder doodled on a napkin who knows when, that the author has on file ready to post instead of a fresh installment. Briand usually skips an update if he can't make the deadline rather than subject us to actual filler.
Anyhow, do you think BM's theory has any merit? Is Chaos still in some larval state, not wielding his full power yet? Because, seriously, a slightly demonic head (that isn't even "infused with unreality and contrary to Euclidian geometry" enough to drive anyone insane) stuck on a frail ancient body held togehter mostly by spite doesn't inspire the fear and awe and maddening sheer terror the living manifestation of Chaos should, erm, inspire.

Yeah, pretty sure that Meister has repeated over and over today to back off of the "X number of posts" garbage.

Yeah but if you look at his post count it's mostly a good bet that account was made just to be banned.
Anyway, the Chaos banter entertains me. We should have another week or two of this before anything serious happens. |
