Yoda is completey immune to grabs though, even from Rock (Who has a low grab) and other Yodas.

And blah blah blah cheap. If you suck balls at the game, then Im gonna be a dick and spam. If you actually uhad skills maybe Id play like I normally would. Im not saying Im tourney level, but at least I know when to block for god sakes.

So... you're gonna exclusively use tactics that your opponent doesn't know how to avoid? That's cheap. That's REALLY cheap.

Something I noticed about the computer, though... do they seem to block a little too much, or is it just me? I saw my brother playing Story Mode, and he had a couple of FLAWLESS playthroughs. Why? He chain-threw. I kid you not, he spent every battle doing nothing but B+G and moving forward. The opponent, after being thrown, would proceed to get up AND BLOCK AGAIN. This was made all the more ridiculous when he played as Kilik, whose B+G throw basically involves a quick breakdance on the enemy's head.

I realize that on easy difficulty the computer has to be full of flaws, but shouldn't it be at least slightly... adaptable? As in, "Oh shit, I've been hit with the same throw 6 times in a row! Maybe I should DO SOMETHING OTHER THAN FUCKING BLOCKING!"

To be fair though there are some people who can do really really good and never block. Granted they're few and far between but they exist.

I've made the decision to stay off of online until this weekend so I can at least get mediocre at the game. And because I haven't bothered to connect my new elite to the interwebz yet. I'd be closer to that state if I didn't spend half my time fooling with custom characters, but I mean...Drizzt Do'Urden. :shifty:

e: Yeah, I've noticed the AI likes it's blocks. It's pretty much the only time I get to see my Crit finishes because I never do them in training, though.

I play to win. Honestl;y though, if you dont know something as simple as low blocking (Blocking and holding down) then really, you should expect people to abuse that.

Well...fuck. Something's wrong with my disk and it lags out to the point where I have to hardboot the 360 when I choose certain characters (Sieg is the most prominent). It also seems to be an isolated problem; I can't find reports of it anywhere else.

And to think I felt like a dumbass for buying that 3 dollar guarantee.

You know, it seems like I kill opponents every time before I see a critical finish. So, it kinda doesnt work unless youre opponent does nothing but block. And sometimes, THAT doesnt work too well.

Also, how in the hell do you customise the control settings for one player only. Say player one likes the default, but P2 wants something more traditional. I just cant seem to figure that one out.

Dial it down? But challenge is the essence of the game! I don't even care if I lose, as long as I have fun doing it.

...So, yeah, maybe I should've stuck with Yoshimitsu instead of going with the Prince of Persia or whoever I used. It was still a blast, though. You're way better at it than me.

Also, goddammit I HATE whoever it was that was singing.

Man, I hate this game right now. :p

I tried playing with the samurai guy Mitsuragi or whatever and I was stuck at Stage 8 Algol in Arcade Mode for honestly almost an hour.

Hate it!

We'll try again tomorrow.

Yea, It exists only to punish turtlers. Ive seen maybe 3 or 4 in all the hundresd of matches Ive fought.
