Totally, Tyr. What's his name is still Tactical, but you get to have your own little office by the brig and go on away missions. So that's something.

I think I might drop out. I'm just not getting any ideas. Sorry if I've held things up.

And, as I said, there should be some more opportunities for different sorts of characters coming up in the future, so keep an eye out for that.

Her hands were cold and small.

I was looking at the side blue-print of the ship, and I was wondering if there were any recreational facilities on the ship. Y'know, like maybe a holodeck, or some sort of court for playing parese squares (sp) or velocity? I can understand not having a holodeck in the original blueprints, but you'd think that after being in use for such a long time, there'd be some...non-regulation alterations to the floorplans. Especially after the war had ended and Voyager had returned to Earth. You'd think that maybe StarFleet would maybe take some of the information on maybe Quantum Slipstream or maybe Trans-Warp or the crazy Holoprojector that the Doctor uses, and start implementing some of it. Five years would be plenty of time for testing and implementation.

I'd join but... how much do you have to know about Star trek? I mean I know some bits about it but not to much on the fine detail.

I'll take whatever needs to be filled. If there is something. If not I could just be some janitor.

Name: Ian O'Toole
Desired Rank: "Anywhere that gets me away from this bloody ship!" Position: SOSS Inspector Species: Human Age: 62 Appearance: 5'12", lanky, Pale white skin, Dark blue eyes (with an occasional twitch), grey (and balding) hair with moustache. He always seems to be wearing his dark green apron and tool belt. Bio: Born in the backcountry of Ireland, Ian was one of the few people to make it into Starfleet out of the mountains of Kerry. He herded sheep in his youth before joining the Starfleet Operational Support Services. He spent much of his life repairing and Inspecting the minor details of the fleets ships computer system, ("I spent me life counting lights on computer panals" as he would say.) and other tasks deemed to minor or trivial for engineering to handle. He quickly learned to hate this. He has no known family or, indeed, friends. He is on board the Tokamak because Starfleet felt that the vessel would need constant (or at least occasional) minor maintenance in its old age (something which would drive Engineering up the wall if left to them alone) and wanted all vessals in top-notch condition until its losses in the Dominion war could be replaced. Ian has one of the best current starfleet records for individual knowledge about any class of Federation ship from the Galaxy-class vessels down to type-6 shuttles, something which will no doubt come in handy during his stay on the Tokamak Personality: A cranky old man through and through he possess a natural Irish pessimism and is easily enraged when someone mentions anything about a slight problem with the ship. He likes his drink a bit too much and can quickly ruin even the best of moods with a single sentence. He can be quite insensitive to other people. He is somewhat naïve about space combat but his natural ability to predict the worst won't leave him underestimating any enemies they encounter. Done and done.
