I think entirely too much about shit like this
Spoilers for Godzilla 2014
While Serizawa is right that there's a predator/prey dynamic at work with the behavior of the monsters, the roles are reversed from what he thinks. Instead of being the top predator in their original ecosystem, creatures like Godzilla were the main prey of the MUTOs, at least when the MUTOs needed to brood. The male stealing the warhead for the female to bury with the eggs indicates they need a constant supply of radiation to nourish the offspring; the natural source is obvious when you remember that the MUTO cocoons were originally found in the ribcage of another Godzillasaurus' corpse. Like tarantula hawks, in the absence of environmental radiation the MUTOs probably try to implant eggs in a still-living Goji, who ends up dead from either the larvae consuming too much internal radiation while gestating or from the actual hatching (if John Hurt from Alien were the size of the Space Needle). It may be that they seek out injured or elderly individuals to have a better time of it, and Godzilla's body language throughout the film, to me at least, certainly feels like that of an older monster, especially when we see how taxing using his atomic breath is on his system. This is why Godzilla fights so viciously and almost theatrically (having your jaw broken and radioactive napalm shoved down your throat was not a peaceful end for the female MUTO) and also why he doesn't do obviously predatory things like haul the corpses off to snack on later; he's not looking for food, he's preemptively wiping out a potential threat to his own existence while demonstrating his vigor despite his age. Maybe there's still an entire population of Gojis under the sea he's looking out for once he realizes that the MUTOs aren't extinct.

Also I was going "wait, this can't be cut content that took 6 years to find in an audio disc that just has all the game audio" and it turns out this is also a couple years old. |

My headcanon of Persona 4:
Yosuke is your typical asshole who thinks he's tough shit and can get away with it, but fails to do so repeatedly. Maybe he'll get better eventually. Maybe he won't. Kanji definitely is at the very least bi, but his biggest problem is not his sexual orientation: he's so deep into the mindset that "men cannot like cute things, men must always be tough" and so on that he puts up the strong guy facade. By Golden's one year later epilogue, he has dealt with that issue and now presents himself the way he wants. Naoto is a similar case: she's got hit so hard by the ideas of a patriarchal society that she believes there is absolutely no way she could be respected, seeing she's a female teenager, the opposite of what she believes society respects: an adult male. She's so serious about this that she considers a sex change just so she can be respected, but deep down she's not sure if it will actually help: not only would she still be treated as a child amongst her profession, she'd face prejudice for being trans. By Golden's epilogue, she has come to terms that not only strong women exist, she can be one. |

Star Trek: Nicholas Lacarno actually is Tom Paris who, due to the established rough relationship with his father, entered Starfleet using a name from his mother's side of the family. His initial expulsion from the academy was overturned sometime after the events of 'The First Duty', and he later re-enters and graduates from the academy, now going by his given name, Thomas Eugene Paris.
Unable to escape the stigma of his previous failings, however, Tom's attitude towards authority worsens, and history repeats itself when Tom is discharged from Starfleet after covering up the piloting error which lead to the death of 3 officers. And the rest is Star Trek: Voyager, except for 'Threshold' which didn't ever happen. Ever. Final Fantasy VIII: Rhinoa & Squall are Ultimecia & Griever from a possible future. Cid thrusts Squall into a leadership position because of foreknowledge of this possible future. DC COMICS: Batman and Wonder Woman are my OTP ---------- Post added at 12:24 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:13 AM ---------- Mass Effect: FEMSHEP IS ONLY SHEP.

Accelerator from A Certain Scientific Railgun/A Certain Magical Index is female. Personally I hate how this was made into headcanon and preferred when it was more ambiguous
"Unfortunately its messed with my hormones and left me with this androgynous body." "So, is Accelerator a boy or a girl?" glaring "Cant you tell?" "..................yea I was just joking."

Gunbuster:
Jung Freud was actually just a huge disappointment to her parents, who wanted her to be a psychologist. This is the real reason she tried to stay behind with Noriko and Kazumi--she just wanted to avoid going home and get lectured about how she'd already be married and have money if she had enrolled in college for psychology like her father wanted.
