Burnout: Revenge..an unbelievable new racing game!
EA's new game in the Burnout racing game series, Burnout:Revenge is set to release September 13, 2005. i gotta say that although i really dont prefer playing racing games, i love playing this game. Burnout: Revenge is like no other racing game, in my opinion. there are so many jumps, different routes, and cool features.
unlike other racing games, this one really focuses on speed and crashes. after you pick up speed, your car will be able to plow through most of the tiny cars that litter the traffic filled streets. i love being able to crash through them and not have to avoid cars that come in my path. also, if you actually do end up crashing into a huge truck or a wall and blowing up, you can actually set a chain reaction to blow up any other race cars near you. also, even if you do crash, it takes a matter of seconds to get back on the track. if you crash you wont end up in last place. also, the more takedowns you do of other racers and cars, the more points you get, which is a good thing.. there are even other modes that focus on you trying to plow through as many vehicles as you can before time runs out! something like that.. another thing is that you can probably find the demo in any video game section. i really reccomend you check it out, even if you dont quite like racing games. also, here is the gamespot place with some previews and stuff. though, i really reccomend you check out the Gameplay Videos first. |

I must agree.
If you called me up and asked to play GT4, I would laugh and hang up. But if you called me up and said "I just got the new Burnout. Wanna come over and play?" I will be giddy as a school girl. It is the only racing game that had/has my interest that isn't CTR, or Mario Kart.

Once we saw the demo for Burnout: Revenge, my friends and I were pelvic thrusting with glee.
I then proceeded to hog the machine for the next fifteen mminutes before someone else wanted to play. And it was good.

Ehh, even I liked it.
Which is scary, because I don't generally like racing games, but this was more exciting than most other games I've played. |

I just like smashing the cars up, but yeah, this game is awesome compared to other racing games. (Apart from Mario Kart: Double Dash, if you can even call that a racing game.)

I love Burnout. I can't seem to stop playing road rage.
There are few things in life more satisfying than taking out 3 other racers, crashing, then aftertouching the last guy.

Burnout Revenge owns! I played the demo, but it loses some effect when your playing it in Disney (Long story. On Holiday).
I would have to say that Burnout is the best racing series ever! There is no other arcade-style racing games that come close to it (Midnight Club 3 is good, but the lack of crashing just puts it below Burnout). Burnout is a hard series to play the previous game in. I had to keep saying "Takedowns count for nothing" and "Boost only on full" to myself while playing B2.
