In the year 2023 humanity developed that which would ensure their survival. Mighty ships capable of transporting hundreds of people clear across the universe. These ships are totally self-sustaining and a kind of bio-stasis was developed so that the same people who set out could arrive. Of course light speed is impossible and so it takes a great many years to reach you're destination.

To begin with the worlds colonized were those closest to earth. But now the government of earth has decided to send a colony ship to a far away galaxy to colonize a world for an experiment. There were plenty of volunteers. However the ship was sabotaged before it even left earth by those whose religion caused them to believe that humanity should stay where it was put.

The life support systems worked fine however and after centuries of careering wildly through space far from their actual destination the ship finally crashed onto a large planet that was similar to earth. There was only a handfull of survivors, marooned and unable to call for help on some inhospitable planet.

However upon emerging they had the shock of their life. The planet was teeming with life, and life suitable to ensure their survival for a while. If they can go back to basics. Humans have become a pacifist race and have not hunted or gathered food in centuries. They no longer equip their ships with weapons as no sentient life has ever been found. They must become primitive's to survive.

humans are pacifists so you will have to learn to fight and hunt as the rp progresses. There WILL be fighting in the roleplay and although it is in the future there will be only primitive weapons like stone knives, bow's, and spears as you must make your own and you have nothing to work metal with.

bio: Quartermaster for the journey. James has always been skilled at logistics and showed great genius at resource allocation. He also is involved in the ancient sport of boxing, (I hope this is allowed It's not like he can use it to hunt) a holdover of his irish heritage. He also loves to brew his own beer.

Aliens are allowed but if you choose to be an alien then you will have to wait a while before entering the roleplay. Ok......there are three kinds of aliens on this planet:

1: The Nesp - Giant carnivourous slugs with absolutely no intelligence, there are many different kinds (even aquatic slugs).

2: The Tana - Giant pacifist aliens. Bears a strange resemblance to a squid with legs and a harder skin. Has four arms with hands on the end of them and are about 7 foot 4 tall. Because of their genetic makeup their arms have very little leverage which means thrusting or throwing (overhead) with strength is impossible. They are herbivores and will not kill or harm another living thing under any circumstances.

2: The Nene Tana - Allmost identical copies of the Tana except they are only about 6 foot 8 tall and are not as strong. They are a very warlike species and are carnivorous. They have not progressed past the bronze age. Because of their physiology they can use few weapons to good effect: a kind of flail with bronze blades attatched to it is their main weapon but they also use blow darts. They carry two flails at all times.

Note: Both species breed in a unique way. No females can breed except the battlemothers which are two times the size of normal females of whatever race they are of. All males can breed but they are non aggressive except when the battlemothers are in danger whereupon they will use blow pipes to deadly effect. Battle mothers use a club and a shield or two clubs as their weapon. Because of their huge strength but slow speed battlemothers need skirmishers to hold their enemy in place for the strike but no living thing on the planet can survive a hit from one of those clubs except perhaps another battlemother.

All other life is pretty much identical to that on earth except for a few minor variations.

I know this is your rp, but could I make up an alien race? I already have ideas, it could be like a sub plot kinda thing. It would also make competition for the humans of the story.

If not, i'll be a Nene Tana. are they very intelligents at all? describe to me there personality a little if they are.
