I haven't seen a thread on this, so I thought I'd make one.

Wiki article on Shin Chan

This anime called Crayon Shin-Chan has been translated by FUNimation and is being test run on Adult Swim. I caught a few episodes and I just love this show. I'm not really too good at discriptions, but it is basiclly just a show about a wierd 5 year old kid and his adventures with his family, school mates, and superheroes. Instead of a straight dub, it was given an alternate dub, so English speakers are more likely to get the humor.

Yeah, like I said, I'm not too good with discriptions, but I encourage people who haven't watched it to give it a shot. It somes on after Pee Wee's playhouse in Adult Swim.

I remember seeing the Spanish dub in the now defunct Fox Kids channel a few years ago, and let me tell you something:

Shin Chan is Doraemon with sexual innuendo.

And you know what? That's what makes it so special. Watch it, really, that's the best thing you could do for yourself.

Yeah, since the testing run is coming to an end, I thought I'd link it for anyone who missed watching the Shin Chan Episodes.

I thought I was gonna hate this show, but I love it. Anyone that argues its greatness will have to face my ENIMA BEAM, because you asked for it by wearing a skirt.

Can someone tell me, is this actually meant for little kids in Japan or is it just meant to look like it was?

Actually, I think it is basiclly a family show, like the Simpsons. But yeah, I belive it is popular with little kids. The Adult Swim Shin Chan is a lot more adult than Shin Chan is in other counties.

and yes, I want access to the Enima Beam, and maybe the Bastard Beam.

This show is just so great, and I haven't watched all the episodes available to me yet. If only they rewrote Super Milk Chan like this...
