oh man I missed this show, it ruled. One of my all time lost favorites, right up there with Mighty Max and Sonic...the good one.
Hooray for shameless profitting of nostalgia

And here's my mini-review upon having seen two episodes (The Idea Men (first episode)) and Chairface Chippendale).
Okay, first things first: It's even funnier than you remember. And with no commercial breaks, it's concentrated goodness. However, my memory isn't what it once was. (Watching the Tick with friends like Mary Jane make the experience even better). But I'm not sure if the colors in the early episodes were so... off. The tint of the Tick's costume in particular seemed to change shades ever other shot. However, the audio quality is fine, and comes equipped with a French language track. My mind couldn't possibly handle this show in French, so you are on your own there. Well, maybe for certain episodes... The Wandering God |

The Tick has been released. Bout time.
Now all I need to see is the original Sonic as someone stated above. |

which sonic?
The US's dark post apocalyptic one, or Japan's cutsy saturday morning cartoon one?

Whichever Sonic the Hedgehog costarred -- what was her name? Sally?
That one was just awesome. They just don't do videogame-based cartoon shows like that one anymore.

The only downside is, of course, that this set is lacking "The Tick vs The Mole Men"... That one had some of my favorite Tick quotes in it. ("Ahh, savory cheese puffs, made inedible by time and fate," and, "Arthur, look what I found in the basement! Mole Men!")
But hopefully we'll get it in a future release. In the meantime, everyone go buy this DVD so they'll put out the other two seasons!
