Rules of tag and other such things
I was just sitting here drooling in my little corner of the world when I suddenly found myself wondering where the heck I learned the rules of tag and all of the variations I have played. It seems I have always known, almost instinctively, I wonder how that all works. Anyone else have any other strange things like that?
Oh I can also find my way to any McDonalds I've been to at any point in my life, other than that I can get lost walking down the hall at work.

Most of our learning is done during youth? That's why I know the Ducktails theme song by heart but couldn't give you driving directions that are worth anything.
Tag is a common school game. If you didn't pick it up from school, your parents hit you with it at some point.

I err... have no idea what this topic is about!
All right! maybe it's like a weird thing topic? hmm, weird things eh? maybe I'm just out of it, or maybe you are. but like, a little more information would be pretty sweet. stretching out on a limb here however, I'll just add that I was never carded for alcohol before I was 21, and now that I'm 22 I get carded every time. I don't remember having to learn Tag either, but I always assume that's because I must have learned it around my cousins when I was like 2, or on TV or something. But what I do remember having to learn was Red Roaver. Because, honestly now, isn't that like the least played childrens game ever? I think this and the name game are my least favorite memories as a child. And that's a pretty damn good child hood I think.

Thank you, and have a nice day! And on topic... these things are complex... i bet that even people who hate pokemon can tell me at least 5 pokemon names... and most guys who are romantic (which arent that many) can remenber the name of the first girl they slept with, and mostly the name of all the latest ones... and the guys who arent quite as romantic (Hi! My name is Bob. Your bra opens on the front or in the back?) hardly ever will remember the names of most women who passed on their lives... and at the same time, people by logic, know how to play hide and seek, tag, Steal the flag and such. But cant remenber where they parked their cars on the Mall... The memory... is a thing of wonder. |
