Jericho
Anyone else catch the premier?
Compared to "The Day After", an 80s movie about the same topic (nuclear war), this episode was amazing. I love all of the actors and the script was near perfect. Not to mention the music. I can imagine the aftermath of a nuclear attack being somewhat like that, if not a little more panicky. Can't wait for next week.

Not until Saturday, CBS isn't showing it in Canada. The Space Channel is. Still trying to figure that one out... and thanks for spoiling the Atlanta thing.

I thought it was subpar, like most of the stuff on CBS. The only things worth watching anymore on CBS is NUMB3RS and NCIS.

Eh, well I liked it. I also liked tonight's episode. The ending with the guy placing the tacs made the whole thing feel all the more futile.
But, I'll admit, it is the only show on CBS I've really ever enjoyed. FOX's shows reign supreme.

I'll like it if in the second season it turns out that yes, this is post-apocalypse, and yes, they are going to wander the barren wasteland that is Earth fighting marauding bikers. OR machines.
I'm sure it'll turn out to be something stupid like arab terrorists or North Korea or just a couple of accidental meltdowns. Or nothing happened at all and it was all a dream! The fun is in guessing! I don't really like CBS, either, by the way. SMITH is cliche but at least somewhat action packed, though. |

Didn't post back last few weeks, because I missed the first few but downloaded them and saw this and the last weeks. It took a bit to pick up but it's starting to look interesting.
SPOILERS So Russians, or someone else with a similar looking alphabet are involved and connected with Hawkins, interesting. And what do you reckon Jake is? CIA, drug/gun runner, mercenary, hitman, South American guerilla fighter etc? And Hawkins? And was that a counter attack at the end, or do you think it was aimed at more American cities? END OF SPOILERS
