Final Fantasy Unlimited -> Abridged

First of all, if you're wondering why i've opened another thread instead of just posting on the original for yu Gi Oh TAS, please, just keep reading a litle more...

So yeah... i always wanted a project to do online... and now i got it... i made the first Final Fantasy Unlimited Abridged =P

But there is a catch... so, open up the file on youtube... leave it loading, and came back to read this (its almost 7min long)

So, i did the first Ep... it took around 4 days total to put this together from scratch... the voices were kinda hard... (specially since English is a second language for me u.u') actually.. if you pay attetion, you can see that i worked on the episode starting on the end and backing it up to the beggining

Now, the reason for this topic is to keep this project going... im not quite sure if i can do all the 25 episodes alone... my voice range is not that big, and i not all that bright on scripting... so here is where you guys come in

Final Fantasy Unlimited is a great series to abridge because it has by core jokes on: Sony, Square-enix, final fantasy, RPG, Anime and Furries... i mean... c'mon! Its almost a given!

So im accepting any help you guys can give, since there are indeed quite a few fellas here who are "down with the funny"...

So, mostly jokes, punchlines, oneliners, running gags, suggestions, critics and offers of Voice Acting will mostly be considered from Ep2 and on (all new characters from Ep2 and after are avaliable also) and everyone who helps will recieve proper credit on the episode.

Some jokes i desire to keep... like the Subway, the chocobo and the Attack Sequence (that one will always be changing, except the format)

I would really like some feedback, and anyone who wants to join in will be heard

Welllll, since I've never seen the FFU series myself, I can't say I have any jokes right off the top of my head, but if I could find them somewhere for download or whatnot, I might be able to write some comedity for them.

Maybe.

Furthermore, I'm available for voice acting. Let me know what you got, and perhaps we can work out an arrangement.

the whole FFu with english subs can be found on youtube, i think the uploader was called Lillrage or sommething to that effect

I used the French Dub on my videos, simply because its FUGGINHARD to find this thing without subs... but i watched all on youtube, so that i could base myself on the original dialogue...

Its actually one of those stories that could be REALLY great but it wasnt

One of the roles avaliable is the Main character Nemesis (the guy with the sword, called "White Cloud") but ofcourse, -any- new character from episode 2 and on is avaliable

The jokes were pretty good, but I had a hard time understanding some of the dialogue (especially at the begining, and most of what the kids were saying), although thats probably due to English being a second language for you, in which case theres not much you can do about it. Other than the dialogue thing it was good, I liked the Godzilla clips.

Oh man, those voice timmings are killing me =P

You see... its trick as hell... because i need to record then all together so i dont miss my "creative timming" (lets pretend i have on 'kay?)

So, for the lil kid voice, i need to talk all "Nerdy" and trembly
Then for the lil girl voice i need to speek clear, loud, childish and slow as hell, so when i high pitch it on the PC it sounds clear
Then, there is the woman voice, which i need to take care so it dosent sounds like the voice of the boy

and then there is Kaze's (aka drunkman) voice... it actually gave me a sore throath after a few takes that werent "spot on"...

I belive that from Ep2 and On it will be easier to make those... hope so!

Anyone who wants to do a voice, just send me a MP so i can give you my e-mail... there you can send me voice files, i can send you video clips of the characters for pratice and such...

And jsut to keep track, here are the new characters that show up on Ep2:

Earl Tyrant (the villain, who is a abnoxius lill kid)

Fungus (The "monster" on this Ep)

Herba (The sassy evil plant girl)

Osha (The maniac evil guy)

And there is also Makenshi, the main guy nemesis
But i dont think he talks on this one... and for some reason i think he looks british...

Also, anyone who wants to take a crack at helping, here is the "summon" from Ep 2. im accepting any "funnier" changes to it (like i did with the Ep1 one)

Tell you what... i gonna check to see if the other stuff you suggested fits with the timming... but watch for your name appearing on the end of Ep2, because this line is SO in!

Also, i already scripted a 8bit theater quote on Ep2 (had to be done!)
