I am so inspired by the words below
|
They're indestructable!
Fighter and Black Mage have completely and thoroughly DIED at least three times during there adventures. Fighter has been stabbed like a thousand times ( anyone know the official number?). Red mage should have been dead since the third fiend ate him. BB is dead. Theif and White Mage are the only ones who seemingly escaped death! I think they are better than the real light warriors in that respect. Should Brian have another character die? Maybe ranger, or berserker. Add some drama to the story, hm?

I think thats a kinda stupid idea, if he keeps bonking people off, we're gonna run out of light warriors.
No one really knows the official number that fighter has been stabbed because of the time it was just him and BM. Thief technically didn't escape death, he was NEAR death, and was tricked into thinking he WAS dead.

Thief hasn't escaped death. So far White Mage has, but I think that's as it should be, for reasons I can't quite articulate. If she dies at the end of the series, that'll be fine, but for her to be arbitrarily killed and resurrected as easily as the Light Warriors are would sort of lessen her dramatic heft.
If the Other Warriors are permanently killed, I suspect it will only be towards the end. Same with the Dark and Lite Warriors. One character who could conceivably perma-die before the conclusion of the story is Princess Sara. She'd have to do a lot more memorable deeds until then, of course. |
