Forum-subtitle suggestion, et al.
Would it be a major problem to possibly make the subtitle for the Roleplaying forum a little more descriptive in the general mood of the threads within? I ask because there seem to be a load of out-of-place threads appearing in the forum, and no doubt more will come as new user pour in. Modifying the text, while unlikely to completely phase them out, will at least slow them down to proportions of a considerably lesser annoyance.
Another option is, of course, to have separate categories on the main page, but I don't think that there are enough similar forums for that to work out all that well. It would probably just clutter the page. Something else that I was thinking about. I was pondering the system that the GameFAQs forums employ: the user notification system. Basically, a user may mark a topic, specific post or what have you, to be reviewed by a moderator for necessary action, if any. For example, if a user posts a video game review in the General forum, another user could mark the topic and suggest that it be moved. Of course, I fully understand that this would require some major programming, so I'm not really getting my hopes up on that. Just a thought if anyone would want to undertake such a project. So, a little suggestion to cut down on the unrelated topics. In any case, I wish best of luck to the mods in their journey to keep this forum under control.

About the last suggestion, I think that's what the little "report post" link under every post is for.

Well, I think that a misplaced thread is, in a way, spam.
I don't see why a whole new system has to be put together when you have a perfectly good one already in place. =\ |
