I am so inspired by the words below
|
They do melt in my hand! =(
Now this isnt a big thing, but if youve held M&Ms for about 30 secs, they start to melt!! This got me to wondering about truth in advertising, and how every new movie is "The #1 movie in America" and such. Also, things like "Voted best for (blarghlesplargle)". Whos voting!?!? Why must they confuse me so!?!?:stressed:

It was M&M's, but they melt in your hands anyway. Well, at least mine.
I, too, wonder where everybody gets their statistics. I've heard about companies taking large polls in an area (like the US, or even just Washington, for example), and that's how they get there statistics, and yet I never hear people talk about taking these surveys. Not once have I ever heard/been in a conversation where this has been brought up. Maybe people just don't feel the need to talk about it, that could be probable, but I thought I'd at least hear something. EDIT: Bah, Ninja'd by FifthFiend. Curses! |

I purposely melt M&Ms in my hand. They are better when the inside is melted.
The one candy related fact they really need to just figure out is how many licks to takes to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop.

IHMN, with a moist enough tongue you can get to the center of a tootsie roll pop in one lick.
Fact is, though, there are no set number of licks. Each lollipop, each tongue, and each lick is different from the last. Some people don't even bother to lick - they just leave it in their mouth to melt. |

That's why they should custom make every piece of candy for every consumer so that, for example, it will take everyone exactly 184 licks to get to gooey centers, or an extra thick candy coating so that, even if you placed said candy coated morsel upon the surface of the sun, it wouldn't melt.
