Marking things "read"
It would seem that, even after viewing a thread, the page from which one navigates to reach that thread does not update without a manual refresh. Even if you post in that thread. For example, I'll make this thread and probably have to refresh the "Forum Related Stuff" page to see it posted.
So, reading threads registers that you have read them, but not without a refresh. Also, clicking "mark forum read" does not take effect until, you guessed it, I click refresh manually on the level up from it. I am running MSIE, if that, for some reason, could be the cause of my troubles. Like the "Formatting" thread I created, this is not a major or unbearable problem. I figure this forum section is to help get the kinks out of the system, and am just offereing feedback.

It's a browser problem I've seen before, but I couldn't tell you how to fix it. Make sure that your computer isn't saving every page it visits, first of all.

And make sure under the Temporary Internet Files settings that it's set to 'Automatically check for newer versions of web pages'

Well, I don't have that problem with any other forum, so I was thinking it wasn't on my end.
However, I did recently reset/edit my registry settings on the browser (and, thus, many of the options). I'll give that a whirl. Edit - Yep, that worked. Odd, as it didn't affect the other forums I use. Perhaps that is due to a difference in the way they handle such things. Or I just got lucky. Sorry about this one, as it was my fault.
