Hey guys, just realised I hadn't made a discussion thread yet. So discuss and stuff! Anyone currently unconnected who wants to hook up with someone else?

Minor GMly ironfistiness: If you're going to be able to encapsulate people so easily Hawk, I'm afraid you'll have to put up with such bubbles being a lot weaker than 'near indestructible'.

A minor corollary: as the fields are moveable, others could theoretically move them. Naturally, I'd typically assume there's significant resistance to being moved in most cases.

Finally, a minor detail, but there's not really much in the way of obstacles outside of the prison walls. Quite frankly, things like barbed wire and perimeter fences aren't that much of a hinderance to a lot of supers. They'd rather keep it clear so they can send their own guys after escapees faster. The ground's pretty much featureless for at least a hundred meters past the prison walls. This is to give a nice open firing ground for the defences on the wall.

The prison is essentially the only thing on top of this little plateau and there's only one road down the cliff, again for security reasons.

Does anyone have any questions about the prison or anything about the RP in general?

EDIT: Oh yes, while I think of it, sign-ups will remain open, especially seeing we've had a dissappointingly high incidence of people submitting profiles and then never showing up again.

I agree wholeheartedly. Those two would be perfect together in concept, I think.

Also the whole melee/ranged dynamic going on there.

Hawk. I feel the need to point out a few things.

I kept silent about why dropping people from a height of 20 feet to knock them out is dangerous, but I really need to speak about this. Making someone hit a wall at about six times human terminal velocity is murder. I don't even know if there'd be much of a body left.

Secondly, I think I need to point out somethings about high speed flight. Even trained pilots can only withstand (vertical) G-forces of up about 9 g for short periods of time. This is after training, while wearing a G suit and using a special straining technique. Higher than that and they lose consciousness.

Travelling at the speed of sound, centripetal forces would require turns to be in an arc with a radius of at least 1 kilometer to avoid passing out. A turn with a radius of less than 100m would kill you nigh instantly. You really can't maneuver well at that speed.

I think a fly or die approach is best. Write me a few sample paragraphs for an RP post and either post it here or PM it to me. Then if its clear enough, you should be able to get in.

For other people, anything you'd particularly like to do once this jailbreak gets sorted out?

if that last post seems kinda overpowered, it's simply a maximum sonic attack, broke all the glass, hurt everybodies ears, made the normals and really weak villians fall to their knees, would'nt do anything to the important characters,Pc's and such(Who we'rent right there) but give them a mild headache and shake things up a bit, I just needed to pull out of the fight with Hawk's trio to get into action elsewhere, as he seems to have dropped away.

Yeah, I'm getting very concerned about activity levels here. We seem to have lost a lot of players. Some emergency recruitment might be in order.

If we have at least 4-5 reasonably active players, we should be able to continue. Can we have a roll call of who's still in?
