Help me pick a logo.
This is the logo I put on my graphics now:
(PS is my initials. PS Productions) This is one I made this morning: (That's my family crest, and my last name means Peacemaker. Although this one spells PMS, I noticed after I made it.) And this is my personal favorite I also made this morning: (I just like angels, and I like the simplistic silhouette, artistic style of it.) I like the third one, but I wanted to see what some other people thought. Edit: Also, feel free to rate the names, and the graphics by themselves (not compared to each other.) as well. The names aren't that bad, but I find particularly in the top and middle one, the overlapped colours seem to clash with each other. Seems a tad unsavory to my eyes at least. Especially the blue, green, and red in the middle one; it's too harsh. Unless harsh is what you're going for!
So I like the bottom one the most. It lacks colour, but as you say, simplistic. |

The one rule I happen to know about logo design is anything you use has to look decent in black and white so's you can xerox and fax it and shit like that, or the people you send it to in color can xerox it and fax it on to their references. So on that basis i would rule out both one and two.

I'm partial to the angel wing, myself. It's bold, recognizable, and not too complicated. A coat of arms is really not suitable for a logo because other people share it with you and they tend to be overly ornate anyway. The first image is, well, small. And doesn't really stand out. You need impact.

If you redesign the family crest (Simplify, styalize etc) that could be cool. Also, the 'Productions' one would be better if you just had the word under the initials instead of striking through it to look EXXXXTREMEME?!?!
Something about the Words with the Angel Wing doesn't flow right, but that's the most 'Ready to use' logo you have there.

Extend the cross to the left under "Angel" and it won't look so awkward.

I like to keep it simple. Something that you could draw up in a few strokes but also is recognizable from a distance... so i dont like any of those...I suggest you make something diffrent and unusual that no one else has seen before

The best logo ideas of these, I think, would be the PS productions with the stamp under the PS, or Angel Wing Graphics with a font that is not soul-suckingly generic and at most seven triangles for the feathers. I would recommend four. If you insist on having a bajillion triangles for your feathers, I would suggest at least varying shape/size a little so it doesn't look like copypasta. Yes, I looked at the pixels and it's not copypasta, you probably pored over that logo drawing every individual triangle. Just like Big Brother pored over Oceania caring for every individual Oceanian. For an example of an aesthetically pleasing angel wing: http://www.zestuff.com/vgcats/appare...ies-shirt.aspx Three triangles. And easily memorizable/recognizable. Of course, you shouldn't copy VGCats' design, but observe how significantly less clunky it is.

I was going for something like that, but it just...got more complicated somehow. And I couldn't really tell how it would look once I scanned it in.
And Nique: Its supposed to be a stamp. Like "Denied" or "Accepted" or something. |
