Custom Font?
Is it possible to make my own font out of my handwriting? I "draw" a comic (it's terrible art), and one of the things I hate doing is going through and filling in colors in letters while using Photoshop. I'd just type it, but I feel that the handwriting gives it character.
So, I looked into making a font from my handwriting, and the only things I found were other people asking for money to do it (usually upwards of 100 dollars). Is there a way for me to simply do it myself? I mean, there must be, seeing as other people can charge money to do it. |

There's a font making program inherent to Windows, but it's pixel-based and frankly not very easy to work with. This article explains it a bit: http://www.downloadsquad.com/2005/09...or-in-windows/ . The link there might hold some useful info.

That's actually very helpful. It gives me some ideas, and includes a link to another article with a lot of details.
Thanks a lot! |
