I was skimming movie trailers on the tube a little bit ago and came across this. Anyone know anything about it? The release date on the movie said April 1st 2009 and since I hadn't heard anything about it before now I was assuming that it was just an IGN April Fools Day joke. But on the off chance that I am wrong....


Also, wouldn't it be fun if this wasn't a joke? Mario got a movie, it's only fair that Link get one too.

No, Tomb Raider trailers probably looked pretty great for a video game movie. I cringed several times while watching the trailer, and I work in an environment with painful movie trailers playing on loop so you'd think I would be acclimatized.

I guess for a fake trailer it's a pretty decent effort, but they still could have done better.

Now this is a spoof trailer that looks like it'd be an awesome movie. I mean, CHRISTOPHER LLOYD!
