Urasawa Naoki anyone?
I love his work to death so far, Pluto and Monster were amazing and 20th century boys did not disappoint either. I loved how dark he turns such simple stories, but at the same time usually leaves you with an all encompassing serious ethic/morale.
What do you guys think of his work?

Not read Pluto, but 20cb and Monster were incredible. I first these sorts of stories were the face of manga, instead of dbz-ish stuff.

Haven't read the Monster manga, but I did see the anime, and for some reason the anime came off as them not really knowing what Johan's motives/goals were, and I felt he was somewhat lessened as a villain because of it. Everything else about the show was pretty awesome though.

I absolutely love his work. I read Monster on a whim cause I was bored, then immediately grabbed everything I could find by him that was complete/scanlated. Monster is definitely one of my top favorite manga, and 20th Century Boys is definitely up there too. I liked Pluto, but it felt way too short/undeveloped.

Yea I felt that way about Pluto too, I think it would be because he collaborated with Tekuza on it though, and their styles are literally the complete opposite, both in artwork and story.
Monster has such an exciting ( I thought it was ) plot though, I couldn't stop reading once I started. Quote:

But yeah, Monster took me a bit to get through the first volume but after that I was completely hooked. I had a hard time getting over the "omg, 18 volumes is so long" feeling, but by volume 17 I remember having this sinking feeling of "omg, there's only 18 volumes?!" hehe
