So I got Broken Steel
For comparisson I'm spoiling the original ending and the changes in the expansion, if you dont want it ruined do not read on.
They changed the ending so it actually makes sense. On my playthrough I used Charon, he gave me some lip but "This contract says your doing it". The ending also added images based on the side quests you completed which was nice, the narrator still bad mouthed me for not sacrificing myself. After that you continue the game and help fight the enclave. You also get to see the result of project purity, as a note the modified FEV virus WILL hurt you. The game also throws out some new NPC enemies, and some new weapons. The most over powered being the Tesla Cannon. Its a big gun that deals nearly as much damage as a missle, area of effect spillage, and for a few seconds after it deals electic damage. But thats not what makes it over powered. What makes it over powered is the fact this powerful shots ammo is one electron charge pack. Which is what you have thousands of for your gattling laser and costs one cap. Though the biggest let down with this expansion, the new perks. Most of which are worthless, especially considering these are perks for 22+ such as deep sleep and radtolerance, to only useful for certain characters like warmonger or quantum chemist. PUPPIES! was nice though. As when dogmeat dies he is reborn with increased health. The level 30 ones are awesome. One makes all you SPECIAL stats 9, the other causes you to erupt in a nuclear explosion when you are down to your last 20hp. As a final bonus, in the end you can turn on the brotherhood and destroy the Citidel. There is also a place to find another alien blaster and more ammo for it, that Charon found for me, no idea how that happened. Added main mission adds 5-10 hours if you are as thurough as me. With some extra side quests. Plus the extra levels and not-retarded ending made worth the ten bucks

Yeah, I liked Broken Steel a lot. Liberty Prime's final words were awesome.

I have broken steel, but sadly haven't been able to play it. I was working on a new playthrough and got stopped by a game breaking bug during the waters of life. The only earlier save that would allow me to correct or bypass the bug is some 15-20 hours previously, and I'm just not in the mood to replay that much of the game right now. Hopefully, though, I'll get in the mood again soon, as I've been waiting to play broken steel.

I preferred The Pitt to Broken Steel, as long as you don't count the +10 level upgrade. If you count the upgrade, I guess I prefer that over anything else.
I have a feeling they won't go beyond level 30, because you'd just be a God. However, this is irritating for me because I'm already level 30. Personally, I liked the new perks and used most of them. I was actually sad when Liberty Prime went down. I hope in future DLCs we get to fully repair him, instead of turn him into an endless fetch-quest. Liberty Prime was, in my opinion, the highlight of the entire game. Actually, as an expansion on the fetch-quest thing, it'd be nice if they did a Fable-esque change to the universe after you've given enough of something. I mean, I must have donated (no charge!) hundreds of scrap metal to Walter/whatever in Megaton. Those pipes should be fucking PRISTINE. |

It is kind of disappointing that it's unlikely that they won't go past level 30, because then the future DLC's won't have as much reason to play with. But then again, level 30 is far enough broken, I could do anything by level 20 and it just made it easier after that. And starting a campaign and going to do Operation Anchorage is just broken getting the T-51b armor right away.

Once I got the Almost Perfect perk, though, I became pretty much untouchable. Save for like, attacking Liberty Prime... |

Well, I played on just the Hard Difficulty, and the only enemy that gave me trouble was Super Mutant Overlords. I think it's about time to jump up to Very Hard.

for me it was those new feral ghouls. They take forever to kill, the last level was a pretty hard run for me. Like when I started the game, they keep upscaling enemies, so I'm not too worried if they go abit higher

The Reavers? Yeah, I can't tell if they're glitchy or what, but half the time my shots don't even seem to hit them.
