I had a dream
That I was Atomic Robo and for some reason my arm was trapped inside a plane which was dragging me across the ocean WHILE IT WAS FLYING UNDER WATER.
Discuss the psychological implications and commence the nerd talk. Seriously. I haven't even THOUGHT of Atomic Robo in ages and I don't know anything beyond what's shown on the site. WHY THE CRAPOLA COLA DID I DREAM OF THIS?! WHY I ASK?! Damn you, Brian. This is one of your mind control schemes again, isn't it? -.- |

I had a dream that my girlfriend had coaxed me to see Twilight in the theater and after five minutes we realized it sucked. (Well, she realized, I had my suspicions confirmed.) She wanted to leave but I insisted on staying to the end because "you got us into this, dammit." Halfway through it morphed from us watching the movie to me playing Twilight the Video Game, which also sucked. All the time I could think about nothing but what a bafflingly bad design decision it was to give a non-interactive candle on a table the same helpful "go here" light aura as the interactive objects.
Oh and the theater was clearly my old hometown's movie theater but with an extra room where they kept exotic spiders in a large terrarium so people would have something to watch while they waited for the movie to start. |

I had a dream... well, it's the latest one I remember, and I think I might have told you this one in the other, old dream thread already. But anyway, I had a dream that I lived at some sort of fancy boarding school. I don't know whether I even studied there but I lived there. One evening my teacher (well, yeah, I guess I DID study there), who looked suspiciously like my boss called me into her office to give me cookies, but I had to share them with the pupils who gather on the roof around midnight. I was also specifically instructed to leave before midnight.
So, I went up to the roof a few minutes before midnight, to make sure the people who were in need of cookies were already there. I wasn't greeted at all. They just looked at me. I was kind of intimidated by that, but I offered them the cookies regardless. They accepted them. One of them looked at his watch and told me to 'leave". So I was turning around to go back down, but then I heard bells tolling and looked at my digital watch to see it was 00:00 (I don't actually own a digital watch, weird). Next thing I remember is that I got uppercutted into the air by one, and hit in the face by some other guy. This decapitated me. Usually people tend to wake up when they die in their dreams. But I didn't. It was weird to uh... see how it is to have your had flying around with your own eyes which're still in your head. Then I woke up... no not for real, inside the dream. I was getting up from my dream bed looking in the mirror to realize that I now was someone else. Upon further inspection I noticed I was still at that school. I went to my teacher's office and told her what happened. She was really happy to see me, she knew who I was right away, despite literally losing my head the day before... and now walking around in a different body. She laughed at me for dying, and wanted me to pay for the platter that broke when I kicked the bucket. Also detention for not returning before curfew. Furthermore I should apologize to the guys who killed me, I don't think she was joking. Then I woke up. For real this time, thanks to my alarm clock. My first word of the day, as always, "Fuck". This is one of the very few dreams that I remember that vividly. Actually it's the only one that comes to mind right now.

I have had so many dreams that I wish I could just save as movies.
The latest dream I can recall probably stems in part from recently getting Borderlands. It involved visiting family but also giving a presentation / doing my teaching responsibilities. For some reason, I was changing clothes while doing this; while in the middle of switching shirts, my Dad reminded me to get on with it. The rest of the lecture or whatever it was I was doing took place while speeding across desert barrens in the vehicles from the game.
The dream went on, but I can't recall it. I woke up very suddenly, and while I'm no dream/human brain researcher or psychologist I am pretty sure things like that mess with how much you can or cannot pull back from your subconscious. Also, to the OP: Yes, Brian has a firm hold upon your subconscious. It's much too late to escape.

I had a dream where this woman I'd never seen before brought me into her office (I'm going to college right now). She told me she was disappointed in my essay that I had been trying to write for my honors class (Book review on Laura Briggs's Reproducing Empire: Sex, Gender, Science, and U.S. imperialism in Puerto Rico. Loot's to talk about, but anyway.) She said I got a 0 on it; she also pointed out another class (this I know I passed with an A) and said I failed that too. Only other thing I remember is that I went to my Honors class again, and she was there, instead of my other professor(s).
So not such a great dream. I'm glad finals week is over. :x |

Couple of nights ago, I had a dream where me and my family were in a house-barge made of old newspapers and magazines sailing in an ice-filled stormy sea and people and pets kept jumping into the water and I had to drag them back onto the boat, we make it to land...*forgotten portion of dream*...then some mad doctor came in, strapped someone down, and shoved a foot long needle-thing into their eye to turn them into a cyborg. That's when I woke up.

But yeah, I like hearing about people's dreams somewhat, but it's more of something you discuss with people you know!
