I Know I've Only Had Three Beers, Some Wine And A Few Shots, But QC Is Weird
Wahey - check out the original Hannelore. What, do I need an excuse to go through the old ass webcomic archive of whatnow? Because I'm fucking Seil, that's why. Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" is fucking awesome.
EDIT Hanners went from black to blue. I guess Marigold is the one who wears black now. There's color schemes in characters. Woo alcohol. Last edited by Seil; 01-30-2010 at 03:24 AM. |

PA's divx player could take Pintsize.
I was reading this the other day at work, as I needed something to do while holding office hours. Man, this is a boring comic, and I was really turned off by much of the writing. At least it looks like the art got better over time.

I guess it's not for everyone. I like it, though. It's definitely gotten more joke based and... goofy, though that's not quite the right word, as time has gone on.

It's all about Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah, man.
And I think QC is due for a reread sometime this year. . .

Leonard Cohen can just use Word of Power: Asskicking on either of them.

Don't you mean Power Word anyway?
I find both Cohen and Wainwright's renditions to be dripping with false, greasy sentiment; what we in Sweden call "butter-song". Mister Buckley on the other hand sounds very earnest, and shifts between joy and pain as if he means every word he sings.

For real I also prefer Buckley's
I just wanted to note Leonard Cohen's authorship of the song. Also, that's pretty harsh.

Cohen can't sing, but at least he knows it.

Since this has apparently gone from a QC thread to a Hallelujah thread, I'ma throw in a vote for John Cale.
