This is your Movie Version Captain America. LOVE IT!
Aintitcool confirms it today: http://www.aintitcool.com/node/45326 Actually... i like it. Just like with Spiderman, it's a Suit you would think they couldn't possibly transfer from comic to movie without looking silly, but... there it is! It works. And who is behind the shield? Chris Evans! |

I'm actually feeling pretty optimistic about this movie. And I dare say that I like the costume.

Spider-man was transferred almost directly to the movies, The fantastic four costumes as well, but then they're very, very basic, blue tights, four symbol, you've got it, Daredevil came through just as well.
All that said, I love it.

I really loved how the merged the concept of a Hero Mask with a Soldier's Helmet, nice touch there. It looks Flexible enough, but it also looks sturdy enough.
The guys who make the Batman costumes for the movies should take some lessons from these guys EDIT: Also, any Photoshop wiz can take a picture of Chris Evans in his F4 suit and Photoshop Cap's over it to see how it actually looks? Last edited by Bells; 06-03-2010 at 02:00 AM. |

Nazi Punching.
I love the fact that it's basically a World War II military uniform redone in Patriotic Superhero Over-the-top Style (adding the mask and shield). That's what really makes it fantastic, to me.

It looks like it's also took some inspiration from the Ultimates design.

Hmm, I can find nothing wrong with their choice of costume design or their choice of actor. This is quite unsettling.
Hmm, maybe the guy writing it will turn out to have done something crappy like the Elektra movie or something...

My only question is....doesn't this cause an issue if the Fantastic 4 are scheduled to make cameos in the upcomming Avengers movie?

That's when you just do the Torch always on fire and have him voiced over.

Or hell, just use the old trick of filming Chris (As Torchy McOnFire) once on a greenscreen, then inserting him into the actual shot where he plays Captain America. It worked for Lindsey Lohan, it'll work for Chris Evans!
