Favorite SNES Game?
The SNES was a truly great system and it has a lot of great games, but which is your favorite? I never had a SNES growing up, so I loved it whenever I got an opportunity to play one. Games that always got me excited were Super Mario World, A Link to the Past and TMNT: Turtles in Time. The game I consider to be my favorite was never on that list though, it was just another one of those games that was pretty cool. I only choose it as my favorite in retrospect, and by it I mean ActRaiser!
ActRaiser is just great; in my mind one of the greatest. There's all the usual reasons of course, but what it comes down to is that YOU'RE PLAYING AS GOD (The Master in the American version)! Demons have taken your followers by force after they put you down for a nap, with there fists! Now you have to come down to Earth and take care of it personally. How? You inhabit one of the coolest-looking statues ever, as seen here. That's just half of it though. You have to guide your people to prosperity in some great sim-levels, playing as his servant Angel. Kill flying monsters that terrorize the villages of your world and use miracles like rain, lightning and earthquakes to kill those monsters and assist the people by destroying rocks, melting snow and powering wind mills. This part is a lot more fun than it sounds. Oh yeah, there's the music. You saw the video above, now listen to these: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wsefax53YP0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bm29Ho5oNGE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7c99aRckUg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKwiMjD2eQo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwL79zLPzQk So, what are your choices?

Earthbound is definitely on the list, as is Megaman X. Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger for good measure.
Three of those are just absolutely amazing jRPGs, worth my time and more. Megaman X takes the Megaman formula, evolves it, and improves upon it. Plus, it's pretty.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time is the epitome of videogaming. It's all been downhill since Konami's magnum opus.

Yeah, pretty much all the staples.
Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, Illusion of Gaia, Secret of Mana, Breath of Fire I/II, Link to the Past, Mario games everywhere. And uh...NBA Jam. It's a guilty pleasure, but definitely had some enjoyable times with it as a kid.
