Comics Proof Twilight Ruins Everything...
Superman Gets Hipster Makeover

So I saw the picture and quite frankly...it sucks. I may not be a comic book fanboy but I grew up with Superman as part of my childhood and this kinda ruins the image of what I grew up with.

Yes I know, this isn't going to replace the continuities. It's just a (and I quote from the article somewhat) a "hip, sexy, and moody" re-interpretation of his younger days. As you can tell, the fact they mention how he looks like Robert Pattinson kinda irked me.

Ugh...how about stopping with this re-interpretation and just stick to what we had fun reading and watching? Please?

I chose the Comics Icon because we don't got a head-shake one.

Ugh. Yeah I want to try to not care about this but it bothers me kind of a lot. This is just me, but in my mind Clark Kent is supposed to be a kind of nerd's nerd - A inteligent but somewhat bumbling introvert with an extremely rich inner world (or, in this case, secret identity).

'Birthright' handled the young adult Superman pretty masterfully. I'm not opposed to another origins story per se, but... 'smoldering eyes'?
