was thinking a game where its done from perspective of someone actually left alone with nothing, having to fight off monsters every night. Perhaps his slow decent into madness

people would vote to decide direction, like build a house, hollow out a mountain, dig a hobbit hole. and of course this being minecraft, no do overs

not sure about how to handle death though

I would do it on a multiplayer server, then you could have occasional guests with custom skins to make the story more EPIC.

tempting, but that would take away from the sense of isolation. plus as a rule multiplayer servers have monsters off and then its just me building crap
